May be several wish they had picked the Jumpers when this game is over. Yes Jumpers are 0-7 but got to look at who they have played. 3 teams 5A 1 Team 4A, Glasgow and Hazard pretty tough road to hoe when young and hurt. Jumpers are getting better at right time.

Somerset in a close one 20-14. SHS's backfield just too much too much to handle.

I agree he is a hell of a ball player. I wish him well. eriously:

I know I don't know the details of the situation but I find this whole deal with the Doan kid crazy. How can a kid play for Team A last year, transfer to Team B this year, play 4 games for Team B including the game vs Team A and then transfer back to Team A and be eligible that same season?
It all seems just a bit off considering all of the kids that are ruled ineligible throughout the state for transferring reasons.

Family matters beyond the kids control. Back in Somerset school district.

All I will say is that if any kid in the state were forced to transfer based on circumstances similar to Jordan's then they should not and I would hope they would not be forced to sit. It is a very difficult situation for the entire family and the kids should not be punished for it.

Interesting case. What are the non-resident attendance rules for students in Somerset and Pulaski schools? Can city residents attend the county high schools or vice versa?

As of this year city residents can attend county schools but county residents cannot attend city schools. The two systems had a reciprocal agreement for 2 decades that allowed a certain number of students to attend each other's systems, the dropping of this contract is a major point of contention between the two systems and is well documented as of late, a Google search could provide ample information on this topic and the controversy surrounding it.
As for Jordan the move was much bigger than football.

Great game by Somerset tonight , as I said early Whitman is the best player in region, he had 240 total yards rushing , and 349 all-purpose yards and over 10 tackles on defense. Doan is a nice player but he not better than Whitman, really not even close. The only player that was close to Whitman was LCAs kicker who is only a sophomore.
