Its been the longest week of my life!! with trying to renovate the house all the while keeping three kids wrangled (currently a stay at home dad). Definitely ready for Friday night. I always look foward to this game. The atmosphere is different than any other. Couple that with only making the greenup(yawn) and the first quarter and a half of the Coal Grove game and Is say anxious is the perfect word for the way i feel lol.

Prayers for Raceland JR Rock Ball. His mother, Brandy Vanderhoof, lost her fight with cancer this week. Visitation was last night and the funeral is today. She was a devoted Ramfan and a staple in the school cafeteria and at the ball games on Friday night.

Im anxious to see the battle upfront. Last year both lines were LARGE. This year, Raceland stilk has some decent size in Bradley and Wallace, but the rest are smaller, but very strong and very quick. It will be interesting to see how that pans out. I years past, Fairview seemed to use thier DL size to clog things up and let their LBs shoot the gaps. In interested to see what kind of defense they line up in this year.

^^^interested in that as well. I know they could probably use him. Especially in the running game. Raceland hasnt struggled defensively this year against speed though. Outside of the missed tackles that allowed baker and long to get away. We have shored that uo since then. Our redzone defense is really good though. This game should prepare us with experience against a good passing opponent though. The. Paintsville will give us a good balanced offensive scheme and end the regular season with Ironton's physicality and running game. The rest of our schedule will give us a really good idea of what is going on and what we need to work on between regular seasons end and the 3rd rnd of the playoffs. Cant ever really gain much from the first 2 playoff games. I think the game AT Ironton, if we come out healthy, will tell us what to expect in the post season .

We will find out just how good that defense is at Ironton because they are going to pound it at us all night. If we can stop Ironton's run game this year I like our chances in the playoffs. Ironton has went back to what they do best and that's pound it right at you and they are much better than Coal Grove is at it

Agreed. Saw some film of. Ironton. Much better than last year. Just about the same size as CG upfront but they are alot more mobile. This years Ironton team would put a running clock on the Tigers from a ear ago. Couple that with what it means to play AT tank stadium and we may have our hands full. Gotta beat Fairview first though then one more at home to hopefully win the district. Is it friday yet? Obviously i have issues with a calender lol
