Thoughts and predictions?? Middlesboro has been struggling alot here lately with alot turmoil going on in the locker room and from the parents and fans after dropping 3 straight... Danville also didn't look too good in their matchup against a winless somerset team..

I've said alot here lately about Middlesboro but I want to let them all know I'm here to support this team and I think Pittman and crew get it done regardless of who plays qb I think this team will turn things around and win out..

Glad you think so... this whole team needs to come together and I'm thinking they will... I dont think pittman is the problem what so ever though... If Pittmans line would block a little better so he wouldn't have to break 5 or 6 tackles every run I think he would appreciate this team alot more though... But we will see I'm done discussing the negatives like I said I think this is the week they turn around then they blow out somerset and Lynn Camp and go to playoffs as a 2 seed maybe 1 seed if were lucky and I think they make more noise than most expect but we will see

I've seen both play and Middlesboro will have the better athletes on the field. However, I'm not sure they will have the better team. I won't pretend to know what is causing the Jackets to struggle but it's a bad time for it. I still think they can and will beat Danville.

Middlesboro has better athletes but there is a rotten apple in there somewhere. But as of right now as a team they appear broke. Can they right the ship? Jackets by 1.

This should be a good game on paper. They've both got wins against one-loss teams that are pretty similar and the only comparison game for the one-loss teams they've beaten is Casey county and both Bell and Garrard blew them out winning by close to the same margins. However, I do not think Middlesboro's defense is going to be able to stop Danville. Danville has the ability of being able to rely on both their rushing game and their passing game, averaging close to 200 yards a game on the ground and around 150 yards a game in the air. Danville has two losses in which they lost by a touchdown to Corbin and lost by two scores against Boyle County. LCA and Union are sub par opponents in comparison to Boyle and Corbin. I'm basing this simply off the Middesboro team after the Pikeville game because I think they have lost a lot of confidence since that game. Based off the numbers and the inconsistencies with the offense, I think Danville wins this one by a couple of scores. Don't get me wrong Middlesboro has a very good chance to win this game. If they can get some breaks in the first half and keep Danville from going ahead by more than one touchdown, then they'll have a shot a very good shot. I also think if they can manage to beat Danville and win out the rest of the regular season then I think that'll get their confidence back to a point where they can possibly make a statement in the playoffs.

Middlesboro is fast, but Danville is much faster. If the game plan is utilized by Danville (short passes, draw plays, screens) then Danville will handle middlesboro. I'm calling it Danville 35, Middlesboro 28

You guys are ridiculous saying pittman is a problem to this team. Are you guys fans? Do you attend the ball games on Friday night? If so I'm afraid you guys might be going to the wrong stadium because I can assure you Hes no problem what so ever from what I can see. The only problem I see is the offensive lineman and the offensive play calling. The line have such great size and looks to be strong but seem clueless at times on the field. Why did middlesboro fire gilly? Also a lack of skill in a few key positions. Edwards impressed me Friday night while in the backfield with pittman.

I'm all about serving your time and getting your time in, but if you ain't got it, you ain't got it! I am so glad they did finally see the quarterback had to go. I don't agree with anyone saying anything negative about a kid. However, I do think if Danville ends up beating middlesboro pretty handily then its time to make sure those younger kids get some game experience? At some point realization needs to set in that the expectations were just too much for this group to live up too. I think this is the game to gauge those expectations? If they haven't bought-in by now then their not going to.
