Danville 21 Somerset 19
#1
Final

Somerset scores with about 2 minutes to go but it is brought back for holding. Go for the FG near the end and miss.

I really wanted this one for obvious reasons but glad to see the Jumpers improving at least.

Alot closer than I expected thats good news for Middlesboro since we've dropped 3 straight now...

Possibly, it may be bad news for Middlesboro though. We won't know until they've been played.

Some may call me crazy, but if this team gets Doan back they could make a little run, they're very close to breaking through.
#8
Where was this game at?
#9
It was in Danville.
#10
^ There's no way they'd let a winless Somerset defeat Danville.
#11
Mcwilliams played great tonight, add Doan to that backfield and you've got a 1-2 punch as good as anyone in the district. 0-7 or not, don't sleep on them... And I didn't think I'd be saying that, the youngsters are growing up a little

You said it not me!

I kid, I honestly wasn't there so I can't comment on the TD that was called back at the end.
#13
I wasn't neither. But I feel there was some home cooking on it.

No shame in going 0-10 if the Jumpers will play with the heart and resolve they displayed against Danville last night (on the road, in the rain, etc.).

If they'll just continue to play balls-out as a TEAM like they did against Danville, they're gonna raise some eyebrows over the next few weeks, I think. Offensively, they took care of the football much better, and they're beginning to run the ball with at least enough success to make opponents respect it..

Anyway, it was by far the most enjoyable game of the season to attend/watch. Then I went directly home and punched a hole in the wall.

It's been that kind of season.

You and I both old jumper, 465 yds total offense to a hair over 200 for Danville by the way... It's been a frustrating season.

If Doan get's to play??? This team will be a hard out in the playoffs. Looks like these bunnies are becoming full grown Rabbits, Not good news for those left on schedule. OH by the way whoever is lucky enough to get them in Play-offs be on alert you will have to earn everything you get.

Somerset is improving.
#21
I think.

Seen Somerset play against Hazard and they were terrible. Decided to watch them against Danville they looked they have improved big time. The worst thing about Somerset I believe is their quarterback. Heard him and his team mates fighting on the sidelines with each other. I have seen Danville play twice this year as well and from what I seen this had to probably be one of the worst games they have played all season. Seems as if they slept walk through the whole game and it about cost them. Have to also question the field goal attempt that came up 10 yards short.

How can he be eligible if he played at SW already this year? Or did he? Also, if he hasn't been cleared wouldn't he have to practice 10 days again and then be eligible which puts him not eligible til post season, correct? Also, can you play in the post season if you have never played in the regular season for your particular school? Seems like a different scenario all the way the around.

A change in physical residence coupled with the hardship nullifies any loss or reduction, see khsaa bylaw 6. There's no 10 day wait period during season, coaches discretion, since he's already had contact from his previous school.
