Could you narrow it down a little? I assume these teams are in KY? What part of the state? Give us something. That is a broad question.

I know none of those teams is Pikeville, their opponent record is 21-9-1, with 6 of the 9 losses being to Pikeville. Other than that, I can't hazard a guess.

JC is 5-0. So it is B or D, but I'm not wasting time looking up all the opponent records. Lol

Not every team has a 2-3 hour drive to play an oponent that will test them. For other schools, if you can get a high level game across town, why would you travel all the way to BFE to play JC? The only team close by for us, other than district foe Ashland, is Belfry and they are already on our schedule. School budgets are tight and we cannot shell out $4-5 grand a week to take two buses halfway across the state while providing 2 meals to 60 players each Friday night. Weeks 2 and 3 are open next year. Looking for 2 year deals, one must be home and the other away next season.

There are a lot of weak schedules in EKY right now. Lawrence Co, Prestonsburg, and JC. If Pburg and LC would play JC it would help everyone. Especially LC. There's not a team out there tht will prepare you for Befry like JC will. You would think they would be begging for a game. Also the gates would be great for all of these teams. I guess people forget that JC used to travel so far just for district games. It was horrible for players and fans to drive like tht every week. But I would like to see them add Henry Clay. Not so much Bryan Station. That is an up and down program that JC used to play.
WV and good Ohio teams are hard to schedule. Their point system discourages them from playing JC. But if one of the mediocre or bad teams can get an upset it could get them into the play offs.
On another point this 6 class system has created a different perception. When there were 4 classes no one cared that JC was a little bigger.
