SK 24 Ryle 17 Final
#1
Final

Absolutely great game Ryle had it in the bag but let SK hang in by passing the ball when they should of been running.

Sk made a great play when the Ryle Punter caught a low snap and kneed giving SK the ball within the 15 with 24.6 seconds to go.

All around great game Ryle finally showed what we have been talking about in Union for 3 years. Good game looking forward to District play in NKY.

Have always hated the knee down rule with WR's and punters!

Man it was a rough way to lose after such a great game. Should of been an OT game.

Not to rain on the parade as it was a good effort by the Raiders, but didn't they have a similar game last year against Cov Cath?

Yeah but there were other outside factors in that game thta affected the outcome. Leave the drama to last year and focus on the future.

I will say if Campbell Cty can pound the rock (which I know they can) they will win. Ryle should of stuck to the run in the 4th because they moved the ball all night.

The blueprint to beat SK is out and it's slow paced power football. Ryle's players should not hang this loss at all on them. A few bad coaching calls. I do want to say I thought play calling had improved and I was definitely happy to see our QB under center with Jarvis and England/Bateman in the backfield. They moved the ball well and controlled the game flow.

Still very positive though on to Boone, Dixie and Campbell because that's where it matters.

Fist off, thank you to the Ryle Raiders for finally emerging from Davey Jones locker and letting us know what you are capable of. From the stats Ryle was kicking the neers arse all over the field in the first half.

So let me make sure I understand this correctly. It took a 43 yd sk FG to tie late in the game & and a bobbled punt snap to help sk win??????

Certainly not the sign of an all world sk team many have claimed it to be. Confusednicker:

Amazing what happens when they play an "emerging" or good team. Welcome back Ryle and a tip of the cap to the neer boys on finding a way to win.

I'll go on record now and say if tonight was an indicator of things to come in the district. I really like Campbells Countys odds on beating sk.

TNT, I believe I heard your sigh of relief, a frustrating sigh nontheless since they could have won, from where I was last night. Good to see the Raiders starting to hit on all cylinders. Let's be sure to cross paths at the Dixie-Ryle game later in the season!

Definetly a sigh of relief but it gives the boys the backing, belief and hope from the community that it has been lacking...

And to think, UK still wants to run around gloating that his team is something special and wants to compare his team HHS! What an embarrassment to the Neer faithful!

Yes it is! History is now repeating itself. By next year, we may well never see a SK fan on here again. Well, we are only down to 1 anyhow, so the rest have at least seen the writing on the wall......

In case you didn't notice SK won! 6-0 this time next week 7-0!!!

congats on the W. those numbers wont get it done against a team with a solid O game plan. all those stars on your team including the states leading receiver. winkler a non-factor all night against the smallest kid on the field? passing game was nonexistant. again nice win, sure would have been nice to go to OT and not let the REF decide the game. you should have got the ball at midfield with no timeouts and about 12 seconds. oh well
