Great game Eagles! You played great tonight. Some silly things at the end, but we squeaked by! Can't do that tourney time, it will be a loss!!!!
I also want to give a shout out to Coach Roe and his team. They are a VERY GOOD TEAM! I hope we don't draw them in any tourney!
Lowe is the man! He has the total package! Keep playing hard Lowe, great things will come!:theman:

I heard from some PC fans that a couple of PC's players had to go to the ER and get some stitches. They said one of them was Tyler Hamilton. Does anyone know how Tyler is and the other one?

I know Lowe had a cut over his eye in the 1st half. Pretty bloody! But I didn't see anyone else. They let them play a little rough down low, but when both teams press and are diving like crazy for the ball, these things will happen. Great hustle from both teams tonight!
If both make it to the regional, I feel they will tough outs!:redboxer:

Yeah, the people I talked to at the restaurant said the refs let it get out of hand a little. They said Tyler ended up with 3 stitches. Did he finish the game?

I think both teams finished with the full roster. I was a little worried when JC had 14 fouls with over two minutes to play in the 1st half! They really called the hand-checking, good teams have to adjust. We are lucky to have a deep bench though. But I did like our aggressive play tonight! 1st time we've shown grit in a few games!

Great game...neither team should have lost!!! JC kept hammering the pressure, and Pike Central kept fighting all the way, very gutsy while Lowe was on the bench for what seemed forever with 4 fouls!!! The hawks could have packed it in but decided to show some HEART!!!
Nice win Johnson Central!!

sounds like a great game wish i could have gone to this game but had to treat the lady friend to a nice V-Day...Good job to both teams and Congrats to JC for pulling out the win...Hopefully these two will see one another again this year in the tourny...

This was a great game for both teams I got there right after it started. JC played good team ball. They better keep it up for tourny and paintsville on friday. PC is a great team i wouldn't want to meet them in tourny time lol.

Congrats to the eagles.
Also, congrats to Jamie McCarty on the 1000 point club. Last night imo was his best game of the year. looks like he is finally getting his feet back under him. I really believe the broken foot hurt him the first 2 months of the season. Last night in the first quarter he went in and had nice one hand slam. Also really helped at the end of the game bringing the ball up the court and him and Meek done a great job on Lowe the last 3 minutes of the game.
Rice and Fannin also had good games. Still missed a lot of easy shots in the first half.

Tyler went into the locker room at half time with a bloody towel held to the back of his head. When he came out in the second half he had been bandaged up and was sporting a blue headband to hold the bandage on. So yes, he finished the game. I don't know how many stitches he got but was told that he had like a 2 inch gash in the back of head.
It was a great game by both teams. Jamie McCarty was lighting it up in the first half...great job by "Red".
I overheard someone say that Jesse Meek couldn't put on a uniform without someone calling a foul on him and it sure seemed that way. He couldn't get anything started because for every effort he put in there there was a foul called on him. However, he did do an excellent job on guarding Brad Lowe late in the game (and surprisingly it was without a foul being called).
All in all, it simply looked as though JC came ready to play. They were hyped up and ready. Great job Eagles! Now let's focus and get ready for the Tigers....:Cheerlead

I was told that Tyler ended up with 6 staples after the game. He's OK though. He's a tough kid.
