Im pretty sure Philadelphia.

How much does JC play these far away teams to come play? Will JC ever go to one of those places?
#8

Philadelphia. Play in the City League there.

They're not that good.

They have like 10000 students, but I think there spread out over different campuses.
#11
JC now substituting liberally in the 4th quarter on both sides. 36-6.
#12
If its any indications, Maxpreps has JC listed as the 1,031 ranked team in the nation.

MC is ranked 4,413

Good win JC keep it up!

Mastery Charter North has some nice athletes...

I was impressed from the start when they came out of the locker room. In formation carrying their schools flag. And when they left the field, they formed it up and trotted off. You can tell they have some coaches who are prior military.

They just didn't have the depth JC did. Not sure how many players they brought, but I would guess 25-35 players total.

Good point. Central is playing a TON of freshmen and sophomores, both starters and backups, and rotating many bodies in and out. This team's ceiling is sky high. They're good now. They have a chance be truly special with some more games under their belts. The parts are all there to be put together. And Workman has a chance to be a very special player at QB. He has abilities you can't teach.

Given how young we are, I'm ecstatic with this season's start. Can't ask for anything more so far. Keep it up, Eagles.

Mastery Charter North is a good team..... They are not on Highlands or Trinity level.

From what I could see... and I could be wrong... but they looked bigger than JC when it was 11 on 11. Their QB is listed at 5'10 and 230 lbs. Looked like a fire hydrant running around.

Like one of Jared Lorenzen's legs.

I will go on record....

I asked the coaches in the press box from Mastery Charter North about playing the theme song from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" tv show. And all three coaches from MCN started laughing and all agreed that they would enjoy the gesture. They said their school is actually located in West Philadelphia. And in case you are wondering... NO, I did not play that song,

I did play a Boyz II Men song during half time and one of the coaches from MCN came over to me in the press box and told me that this was the best trip they had been on. And was surprised that we knew about Boyz II Men here in Kentucky... and that I knew enough about their school to play a song from a group from their city.

JC had a great crowd tonight...

Seeing the six elementary schools and the kids playing flag football, the 3rd & 4th grade and the 5th & 6th kids the JC football future looks bright.

The 7th and 8th grade teams from the middle school have some studs playing as well.

Computer Rankings. Just like all the "experts" that worked for ESPN.

Maxpreps had them ranked around 250ish in Pennsylvania, and someone tried to compare them to the Philadelphia school playing Trinity, who is ranked 11. If you're asking me if I watch them regularly, well of course I try to make it to every game I get a chance.

I don't know if MCN didn't bring their full team... but if they had any depth at all, they would be able to play with any Lex./CKY or EKY area team.

And they could strip the ball.... one of the coaches I talked to said they do the "strip drill" every day in practice.

JC is improving. There QB is improving in the "Belly" read. I love the triple option pitch that JC seems to have added to the play book this season.

I think we may have traded power for speed. And I'm okay with that.

Id say JC will not travel to any of the teams they've played.
