Clay Co. @ Harlan Co. 8/29
#31
I dont see a blowout in this game. I thought Sam Carr was a senior two years ago.he is one of the players that seems to be around for forever. with him in the backfield for the Tigers they will shorten the game and make it close.

Tell ya what GUT, I know me and you go back and forth all in good fun. BUT I will make that bet with you. If Carr rushes for 250 and 3 TD's Friday I will not post for the rest of the season. If he doesn't then you have to keep your trap shut for 3 weeks. How bout it? To the Clay fans, this is nothing disrespectful to Carr or Clay Co football. Nope, this is a chance to shut GUT up for 3 weeks. So what do u say there GUT?
#34
He has yet to respond to my avatar bet!!

I know it's all fun and games but in all seriousness the 3 touchdowns aren't out of the question when he is that talented and the Tigers will have some missing pieces. We'll have to see about the 250 yards however. Haha
#36
The 250 is what I was based it on. Not saying it can't be done but I would just love to hear GUT shushed for 3 weeks.

I don't see Clay being as athletic as Bryan Station and they weren't that successful running on HC. After watching the video I'm sure they'll try to pass on the Bears some but HC's best pass defense has always been pressuring the QB and dominating RB's at the line of scrimmage. I'm sure the coaches have worked on what needs to be worked on and the freshman will get better with each game they play. I felt pretty good driving home from Richmond last week except for the turnovers I was very pleased with our offense! Clay may score three but Harlan County won't have a problem scoring either! I'm going to say HC 42-Clay 21 with a late TD when the game is already decided.
#43
I wouldn't underestimate Sam Carr and company.
#44
Carr goes crazy.
Runs through the endzone, smacks bearclaw, and does a back flip over 3 bears.
#45
The old saying goes "If Granny aint happy, aint nobody happy", and I can tell you Granny Bear, and the rest of the Black Bear nation, are not happy about last weeks performance. With that being said, I look for the Bears to come out and play like they have something to prove. Clay County is improved, but Harlan will be playing on another level. I look for the game to be close early, but the Bears will take control in the second half, and put the game out of reach. Harlan County wins 42-17. Good luck to both teams!!!

the loss to Bryan Station was the first regular season game and not a scrimmage and nobody said anything about you getting smackedSmile. Harlan County is 0-1 on the season.
