And that's the ball game. BS 56 HC 22. Demarcus can give you more insight if he gets on later. I was updating from him. Or maybe Grannybear can enlighten us. If she is up to talking. Rough start for the Bears.

Bad matchup for the bears. Young secondary versus a very athletic station group.
Bears will still win district.

I guaran dang T Letcher doesn't have any thing close to what we faced tonight. We WILL win district and have home field advantage in play-offs.

GUT, stay the hell out of our district. You jumped ship and moved away! Talk about your western Kentucky teams.

I am pretty sure we faced him last year. Just sayin. Bryan Station has 6 Mr. Jaylen Williams.

Growing pains. The Bears looked better than they did last week. They'll keep grinding it out in practice and continue to improve. They'll be ready for district play. They just got beat by a very good Bryan Station team.
One of the things I like about this bunch is they didn't fall apart and start fussing on the field. They're a cohesive unit. The first part of our schedule is brutal. We just got to support them thru it.

We had I think 5 turnovers which will get better with our inexperienced team. We had almost 400 yards rushing. We just turned it over too many times. We also just had a very difficult time matching up with BS. We will not meet another team with that much team speed and athleticism this year. I can promise you that.

We aren't as used to it as you are, turd!! Er, I mean Gut!
Horrible evening!! Game was delayed for heat. I'm too old and fat to sit on the aluminum bleachers while the heat index is over 110. I got in the shade, drank some water, puked a bit, drank some more.
Mama Bear is right; growing pains. They did look better than the first game. One of Bryan Station's assistant coaches told me tonight that 2 of the RBs and their QB were going to play D1 next year. I had no idea they were so talented.
STILL, we did some good things. Twice, we marched the ball down the field 80+ yards, only to lose out in the red zone. AND we completed a few passes tonight, two of those were for two point conversions.
Whether Harlan County will win district or not doesn't make a difference in the fact that the HC faithful will be there, win lose or draw, to support this team!!
So congratulations Defenders.
Hang in there Bears....Oh I forgot something. There were a couple of times when I overheard the boys encouraging each other after errors or mistakes. This was definately NOT the case last year. I love this group. We will win as a team; we will lose as a team.

Home at last. Not a great night, we will improve. I promise one thing, we got more out of playing BS than LCC did playing Berea.
