All games are at Raceland. Here are the matchups and things to look for.

Game 1:
Russell vs East Carter
-Maynard's return to Ram Stadium.
-Russell's new opened up offense.
-Can East make this a turning point season?

Game 2:
Bath County vs Greenup County
-Greenup snapped the losing streak last season, they have more players than in previous years. Can they continue the change? Their district schedule is rough.
-I dont know muh about Bath since they went up to 2A.

Game 3:
Raceland vs West Carter
-Raceland nearly all new OL/DL
-Raceland's new QB
-Raceland's defensive backfield should be a tough out.
-West is looking to turn things around consistently. Is this the year they do so?

I think all of the games will be live and game regulation for 3 quarters, then JV/Frosh in the 4th quarter. My predictions:

Russell 42 East Carter 12
Greenup County 21 Bath County 12
Raceland 40 West Carter 12

All wins for the Greenup County Schools. Your thoughts?

I'm going with my picks.
Russell
Greenup Co.
West Carter
#4
East Carter
Bath Co
Raceland

I think all 3 games will be fun to watch, close, and competitive. Alot of unknown with 2 new coaches in the mix.

The games will or atleast should be closer. I dont expect anyone to run more than 10 different plays and not show muc of their hand in regaurds to the playbook. Raceland needs to use this chance to see what kind of depth thy have at all positions.
#6
I agree that the play books won't be open much past page 2.

I stand corrected on Russell/East Carter. Maynard has Russell ready ad East looks very lost. Currently 32-0 Russell

Improved enough to hang with Russell in two weeks? Confusednicker:
#17
I doubt Greenup is that improved. Bath is having major issues moving the ball. Timing seems way off from the center/qb exchange, down to the hand off. Id say Russell is 2-3 tds better than GC. East really struggled.
#18
Greenup is Vastly improved. Much bigger and quicker upfront. Bath cant reall do much of anything.

42-7 midway through the 3rd.
#19
Thanks for posting SCOTTY_BRONSON.

I really hope Greenup can make a game of it, I hate blowing them out every year.
#21
Dang I forgot my I-CON :theman:
#22
49-7 start of the 4th

GC spent more time in Bath's backfield tha they did.
#23
Greenup County 57 Bath County 7 final

These weren't the only games for this event. The first two games were hosted at Fleming County and were on Friday night. At 6:00 Lewis County beat Rowan County 21-13 (21-7 varsity action) and Fleming County beat Nicholas County 35-0 after that.

The first statement was intended to state THESE are the games at Raceland. My mistake. Dodnt intend to exclude anyone.
