Yes it can be done. With a little more knowledge of how to defend the spread and getting offensive linemen to get to the second level on their blocks. It certainly can be done.

OH is 5th VA 12th and TN 15th.

Just saying central needs more of a passing game and also play teams in regular season with a spread offense. These out of state teams are not going to benefit them.
I keep hearing people in community say next yr next yr next yr we will be out of highlands and Covington region. Central gains east carter in district. Who are they going to play. East carter, Ashland, Rowland, greenup and Boyd. All these schools are down. Ashland on real contest but is it.
Plus people talking about this Freshman class. They won state 7th and 8th but do people realize some of those starters are not evening playing HS ball this season.
Something happens from middle school to high school. Central has always had a good middle school than high school comes around and most of those kids are not playing.

Actually they have shown they are better, if not for 2 teams from the north getting in their way I believe they would have a couple of championships; can not say that about anyother teams in Eastern KY.

You do not know HS football very well. Highlands has dominated KY last ten years (at least top three team each year). One of the few teams to give highlands a game (and have a chance to beat them) has been JC. NO other eastern KY team could come close.

This might be the perfect year for it to happen. I don't know what Covington returns but Highlands may have the most down year they have had in a decade. Who do you suggest we play Eagleland? It's easy for someone do get on here who is absolutely clueless on the scheduling process and run their mouth about the schedule. Do you realize that there is 27 freshman out this year and only 3 starters that played last year aren't playing this year? This is the most successful run that we've ever had at Johnson Central and it's so called fans like your self who get on here and run your mouth that just makes me shake my head out of pure frustration. If you're that unpleased with our football team please just stay at home and get on rivals and discuss your vast knowledge of our grade school teams,that will save room for the real fans who actually support our team to get a seat in our stadium.

Has anyone in JC heard anything about Raceland and JC reviving their series? It was back when I was muc younger, but I seem to recall there being a series between them. If not, my mistake. Either way, both teams would benefit. Both schools travel well, providing a good gate for the schools. Raceland needs to get some more consistently legit teams on their schedule and JC needs to see more quality spread teams. The game would inevidibly be lopped sided imo, but so is the Raceland/Ashland game, minus every few years the games are competitive. Yet the Raceland/Ashland game has been going on for a decade.
