Who's got the best middle school team in the 15th?
Right now I'd have to say my top 4 are as following:
1.Paintsville
2.Johnson Central
3.Virgie (Shelby Valley)
4.Belfry
All teams are solid fundamentally and have great pitching and hitting squads... the future looks bright for 15th region baseball!!! 8)

Perry Central, Paintsville, Johnson Co., Belfry I think, Lawrence Co. usually, I think Shelby Valley might have in the past, but after that, you really have to travel.

I think Paintsville has around 20 games scheduled for middle School. Several for jv as well. All together they have around 35 games to be played at home alone between JV, MS and varsity!!! Looks like a good spring to spend at Paintsville City Park.

I must agree with you Guru. Paintsville has a very promising group of youngsters this year on their middle school team! Not only do they have some very good 7th & 8th graders, they have a hand full of very good 6th graders coming up to be on the squad! No matter what, should be a very nice year for throwing that tater around! Good Luck to all!

I heard that SFMS and ACMS are trying to get middle school programs started. Not sure about the other schools in Floyd County. Good luck to both schools in getting their programs started.
