Facebook: do you have an account?
#1
I do.
Never knew what it was until my son asked me to get one.

I did and after he passed away I kept it.
#2
Do not have one don't have time to mess with it. It's all I can do and keep up with BGR !!
#3

I'm so sorry about your son.
#6
Absolutely! I actually enjoy getting on there and seeing what's going on with my family and friends.
#7
No! Had a Myspace and never got on it. Best I can tell, all it is good for is drama, infidelity, and people posting quotes and pictures of things that they don't really believe in or never have gone through or try and make people jealous of how great their life is. Some people have fun with it to keep in touch but most just use it for drama IMO. I think BGR is way better and from what I been hearing the popularity of Facebook is going way down. I hope it dies out completely just like Myspace.

My grand daughter actually made mine, and it took a full year for me to learn to navigate it. I love it!!

I too am sorry about your son. I had no idea.

That isn't entirety true, you old coot!!! I love sharing stories and pictures and I use mine for a huge prayer chain that goes from Conneticut to California, too! Love seeing those pictures of other folks, AND some of the more humerous signatures of mine have come directly from FB!!!

Oh, and by the way, except for the host of this thread, everybody else with a FB is my "friend"!!

:p

Facebook owns everything you post on it,it tracks your likes and dislikes, it collects every site you visit, and it runs physiology experiment s on it's users.

No thanks.
#19
They're not the only one but .........I choose not to share.

Do you have a Kroger or Food City card? They collect the same data.

I'm afraid all companies are a little disappointed with me!!

I try to limit my exposure as much as possible. I don't use store "deal" cards or certain search engine s there are non tracking ones out there.
#27
You could Google nontracking search engine:biglmao::lmao:
Or use duckduckgo
#28
In all actuality, if you use a computer or a checking account, your information is out there anyway!! The only way to avoid it is to live like the Ice Rebels, and never use anything but cash for purchases.

I hope Big Brother IS tracking me. They will be wasting their time.
#29
You can minimize your exposure if you are aware of things.

I am trying not to but after reading this thread I can't help but imagine nky as one of those guys that lives in a cabin with no electricity in the middle of Montana. I know that I am wrong but it does paint a funny visual. However, I have no room to talk because for 3-4 years people on this site thought I was a woman.

*Disclaimer: Just having fun with you nky, I mean none of that and know that you are not that description. *
