Good luck to the Cats.

Thought I would jump on here early this year and talk about this years game. I fully expect for the Bobcats to come to the SPEEDWAY and return to Kentucky with a win. Graduation hit us hard last year--losing 7 or 8 starters on both sides of the ball will hurt any team, especially a small 1A school. Now we do have lots of young unproven talent so you never know how the season will unfold but it will take time. We really enjoyed our trip up to Bell last year and we look forward so seeing you all in South Pitt.

Tom I know u guys will be a solid team. graduation is rough, it was on us last. All the SP fans I talked to last year were great people. I look forward to making the trip to play such a great program with a wonderful history.

I knew they lost some but the QB and #4 is the real deal. Speed. He is a game breaker. They will be tough at home. I still believe we can come away with a win.

South Pitt will be tough game. It will be a challenge that the Bobcats will be up for.

Bell will be much improved compared to what we were last yr when we played South Pittsburg. Definitely bigger and more physical!

Bobcats pick up transfer Cole Frazier from Middlesboro. 6'3 220 TE/LB Can not wait for season, things looking good.

That is great news!! I had heard it may happen for a while and I am glad it has. I got to know the Frazier family when Randy was coaching at Bell. Good people and Cole is a heck of a player. I look for the Bobcats to be very good with the addition of another good character kid and to boot a pretty darn good player just makes the upcoming season the much brighter. Glad to hear Cole is now a Bobcat! Big things coming for him and his teammates!

Frazier will fill a needed gap in the defense freeing up Caldwell on the offensive side of the football. I hope Frazier frees up Caldwell to play just offense. Look for Caldwell to put up even bigger numbers. Green, Swanner, and Frazier at linebacker will be one heck of a group

Good to have him back. He is a former Bell County kid anyways. Welcome home!

Welcome back HOME!!!!
Great pick up and will help on both sides of ball. Things just keep getting better.

Great addition to the Bobcats. Will add more depth to a great defense. Congrats and good luck.

I actually ran into Cole a few weeks ago and they were moving then. He was at Dairy Queen in Pineville getting some food. I didn't want to ask him if he was transferring b/c that was something between him and his family. Now that it is out I am happy for the youngman. Nobody with sense God gave a goose could expect that youngman to play at Mboro (or go to school at Mboro) after they let his dad go under those circumstances. That has to be tough on a Senior to be and the young daughter.

Very good addition to an already good team.

Will we use 2 TE sets a lot with Dylan Cox?
07-02-2014, 12:32 PM
Bell did a lot last year even with Cox out late in the year. Those 2 at TE would be a scary look for defenses. Could be the best 2 TE's in this part if the state on 1 team. Both are very versatile. I think both could split out some and be effective? Lots of match-up problems for DB's with those 2.

Some one fill me in, you all talk as though you can switch school and be elgible immediately, I though you had to waite one year to be elgible. I think you can move as a family into a new district and be elgible, I hope the kid does well and he gets to play where he want's to. The KHSAA is a joke and they will rule sometimes just any way and are not consistant.
07-02-2014, 03:47 PM
To fill you in. They moved Khsaa made a ruling and he is good to participate.
The family actually moved over a month and half ago but news was pretty quite out of respect. Kinda surprised me that both sides kept quiet about it. Just shows that mboro and Bell compete but the family matters are private things that should not get aired on message boards.

With all due respect topnotch, how can you even comment without knowing any of the specifics. He was ruled elgible and all the rules were followed. The KHSAA was very consistant with the ruling and the family situation. With that said, it is really between the family and schools. There business is not mine or yours. You are filled in. No offense.

I am sure that everything was done through the proper KHSAA procedures. Football season all most here.

Yes it is!!! Can't wait to travel to so. Pitt. Anyone know if we are taking charter buses for the fans?
07-02-2014, 07:29 PM
:CheerleadI would say the bobcats will have charter buses. That's a long trip and pitt brought a good crowd. And it's the first game for an excited season. Go bobcats!!!!!!
