I thought there was a thread already on here, but I couldn't find it.
Anyway, this should be a good match up. It'll be interesting with the Jarrell/Lowe match up and the Kendra Carroll/Ratliff match up.
My first thought was Paintsville by 8.
With Russell out, it'll be tough for Paintsville. At least she should be out, Paintsville has more important games at Magoffin on Wednesday and at JCHS on Friday.
Laura Carroll will really have to step up her game. She has taken on more scoring over the last 10 games averaging 9.4 a game. According to KHSAA, she is shooting 51%. She'll have to pick up the slack handling the ball and most likely guarding a bigger, stronger player.
Katie Adams has been playing real well over the last 8 games. She had an off night shooting Friday night, but the rest of her game was solid. She won't have another bad shooting night. She's been averaging over 6 rebounds, as has Russell. Adams and Jarrell will both need to rebound better.
I still like Paintsville in this one. It's senior night for the Lady Tiger's lone senior, Chelsee Jarrell. Two of the top 5 teams in the region. A few of the region's top players in Jarrell, K. Carroll, Ratliff, and Lowe. It'll be great for the fans. I'm looking forward to it.

Different Lowe - Paige Lowe did quit - but Kayla Lowe still plays for PCCHS

I hope you're right Guru, I hope she isn't too emotional to where it's gonna hurt her game. I just wish I could be there (not for certain yet, I'm suppose to have night class)

Kayla Lowe didn't fall apart tonight, she had a hell of game and is a hell of a player. If not this year, next year Pike Central, Magoffin County, and Johnson Central will battle it out for the region, maybe Paintsville too if Lauren Welch grows a few inches before next season.
