Triple Crown Winners are so rare, ive seen many really good horses falter in my lifetime as many of you have, but it just seems destiny for Chrome. To be honest, there is just not any real quality horses this year it seems. As long as Chrome doesn't scratch, I don't see how he doesn't win it.

Any idea how yesterdays finish time compared to past times? The beef folks are having is with the "mediocre" field Chrome has ran against.

Hoping yesterdays pace was faster and lends more credibility to this horses success. Considering Chromes story I for one am a fan and would like nothing else than to see the "dumbasses" win a triple crown and put an exclamation point on the horse racing world.

This is very good news and thanks for the research. Unless there are some Belmont ringers racing in a few weeks. I like Chromes chances and will hope the "blue collar" champ has a good experience these next few weeks!!!

This horse has the Racing world on its head right now and I think it's great!

I had California Chrome in the Derby and Preakness. The Belmont is a totally different beast. 1/4 mile longer than the Derby. If you watch the replay of the Derby, Chrome had a perfect trip. Notice in the late stretch Commanding Curve. He was absolutely rolling and if it was the Belmont (1/4 mile longer) he would have won that race.

The Belmont has a long grueling stretch to the finish. I don't think Chrome will be able to hold off the late charge of Commanding Curve this time.
