I am a student at Prestonsburg High School. During school today all the students who attended the last home ballgame were called to the cafeteria where we were lectured on chants and things we weren't allowed to do during the games. ONE in particular was booing the cheeleaders, because a cheerleading coach called the Superintendent. Betsy Layne fans, whose cheerleaders were in the stands booed Prestonsburgs Cheerleaders ALL night. Also, while Prestonsburg had a player down our fans started chanting his name, and when the chant ended some of the Betsy Layne fans sarcastically began yelling "Oh yeah, way to go Michael." I could go on all night with reasons.

Well Prestonsburg was talked to today, no painting bodies, no fan sections yelling cheers while other cheerleaders cheer. Basically NO school spirit is what Prestonsburg is allowed to show because we are obviously the only ones in the county that follow the guidelines (besides maybe Allen Central.)

knowing the rivalry between the blhs and phs cheerleaders, i wouldnt doubt it if the cheerleaders were the ones starting the chants.

Maybe BL Cheerleaders were starting them. Prestonsburg has showed class in both meetings between the teams, and were booed BOTH times while they did nothing, but cheer and support their team as they are supposed to.

I have to give credit when credit is due, good job bobcats, you came out more fired up than the blackcats, and more hungry, good win. But catsfan, I agree with you totally, if BL had class then they wudlve at least shook the hands of the Blackcats, i understand that they just won the conference, and they were pretty hyped up, but not shaking the other teams hand, no matter how the game ends, or what the outcome of the game means, is a very classless act. No, i take that back, there was one Bl player shake the hands of the blackcats, I believe it was the Thomas Sammons, but he was the only one. Horrible showing of class by BL, this reflects poorly on the students, the coach, and the school.

The refs were horrible in this game and the girls... BL has a good team.. but I think Pburg is the better team and will win the district tourny
