Clay county vs Jackson county. ..Good luck to both team. :truestory:

Yep. Expected. Asher is a solid player, I'm not sold on the D1 talk but we'll see. McDaniel 18 and Farmer 16.

Where's General and WolfeCo? Splitting a Meatball marinara at Subway?

Looks like Clay is getting ready to make a run at it. Congrats Clay. Lets see how they do against Jackson.

Ballstar, our teams haven't had consistency all year. I hope we both show our cards during tourney time so we can play in Rupp.

Bubba I have a lot of respect for Clay's team and followed them closely, but I believe you severely underestimate Jackson County. While you are right that both teams haven't been anywhere near consistent, I'm not sure that both playing their best possible game ends with a Clay win. Fox is better than your brother, I think you have accepted that by now. Although Allen has size on Collier, he can not jump with him and does not have half his skill set. Lawson and Hammons may not be as athletic as Wolfe and Smith, but they are better shooters, although I will give Clay the edge on the defensive end with these two. Farmer will be a good player if he doesn't get in major trouble for flipping his lid one day, but the Bingham kid from Jackson plays with double the heart and ten times the maturity as him. Predictions are all but a toss up at this point but Clays best game and Jackson's best game does not mean a Clay win. Knox Central's defense is still the most valuable weapon in this region.

I have to agree bubba. Hopefully they can pull it together. I like my good friends in the 13th like Marcum and Sizemore. Hate to see one go home. North is the future of the 13th so I'm sure they have a few more cracks at it. W/ all that goes on here in the 14th who knows when PCC will have another good shot at making it. I heard Rhodes is taking the OBI job. Any truth to that?

Subway sucks.

Surprised OBI wasn't his first stop in all honesty.

Can't confirm but I have heard from numerous sources that something is going to go down there. If Rhodes does, lookout 13th!

Congrats Clay

Me too. My good friend from London called me tonight and said it was a done deal. He had already visited and has accepted the job. Man, do y'all have some fun in store for you! Lol

Heard tonight at the Bobby Keith Gymnasium that Rhodes was considering OBI.
Congrats to the Tigers!
Congrats to the Tigers!

Can't believe I actually agree with BUBBA but he he's nailed it for once. Could you Imagine the team that he could put together if he had free reign like he would have at OBI? That's truly scary.

Big showdown between the Generals and Tigers. More importantly, I'm expecting an even bigger showdown between Bubba and UKCC vs. General Jackson and WolfeCo.
Let's get this thing started, boys!

Budlight vs Coors light never happen.

Heck we got Gamecast on here now! General did you open another account? Lol. You have some points there ol new buddy Gamecast, they're just irrelevant and not true. We know who the best player in the region is, we know who is the most talented team, the next two weeks will define who the best team is. Go Clay! Should be a great atmosphere Friday.

Haha, I try to remain respectful about it TriCounty until after the game. The fact that no matter who wins this one, they could meet up again is crazy.

Ok....here goes.UKCC seems to be somewhat knowledgable about the game and reasonable. His one weakness is that he agrees with BUBBA too much. I won't hold that against him though.Lol. BUBBA on the other hand seems to be totally oblivious to anything that doesn't involve Clay County, Wal-Mart or Subway. He is a terrible judge of talent and knows very little about the science of basketball. He does not worry The General.

So thats why Fox was voted player if the year from the 13th by the coaches of the 13th, because Chip is the best player? funny stuff
02-25-2014, 11:56 PM
64, Williamsburg played like we thought they would from the beginning of the year, wouldn't be shocked if they made a run at this thing! As for Bubba, the only place McDaniel could outplay Fox is on a putting green.

Ah gosh guys. A senior has to win that, just like Tyler Brewer did last year. General, I know more about basketball than you or any clown to ever come through JC does. We have more State Championships than you do Regional Championships. I never once said Fox wasn't a good player. He is a great player. Does he have some weaknesses yes, just like every player to play the game. The game isn't about Chip or golden boy Fox, its about Clay and Jackson.

I appreciate that General, I think. Haha Clay County folk have to stick together though. Bubba is a little biased but most of the time he does tell the truth. I have McDaniel and Fox 1A/1B though.

Like I said UKCC, I still think Knox Central is the favorite to win as of right now. I would like to know who in Clay would be comfortable with letting Fox and McDaniel play one-on-one for a trip to Rupp? Bubba?

General we have a time on here good buddy. You got your army working hard. Lets be men and admit we both have time teams, nice players and hopefully 2 more matchups where Clay wins both.
02-26-2014, 12:21 AM
I am a realistic fan, though. Not many teams go into Keith gymnasium and win, so Jco will have to come out hot and stay hot, unlike the last two games at Clay. Good luck to both teams, I'd like to see who ever represents the 13th make it past round one at state this year.
