This year’s tournament will be a great opportunity to get ready for the 7 on 7 season. The tournament will be played at Westport Middle School, we have the room to have up to 8 games being played at one time.

We will have both an 7th and 8th grade division.

Each team will be guaranteed 4 games.

We will have pool play in the morning session and a single elimination tournament in the afternoon.

So far we have had 10 teams commit to this tourney, we don't want to cap this evnt as it will be a great prep tourney for the big UK tournament in June.

With this taking place in the middle of May it will give you a couple weeks to make adjustments before UK

The fee for this year’s tournament will be $100.00
ALSO a second team from a school can join for ONLY $50.00

What time in the morning will this tournament start?

Sometime between 9 and 10 usually...depends on teams. We try to make it so the teams the furthest get the late start

Start sending in your entry for this.....we will cap this at 20 teams......this is a great tourney and it will give you enough time to make adjustments before the UK tournament....you can google map Westport middle school and you will see the playing area available???we will have multiple games going at one time and you will still have a large section of field to practice/warm up on....

We had huge turnout last year with JCTMS winning the tournament...

UK has announced its tourney is on June 14...by joining our tournament it will give you a solid 3 weeks to prepare.

I know Murray State has announced their 7on7 on same day as the Derby City 7on7 but with our tournament you could enter 2 teams for less than the price of one in theirs....

We are sitting at 10 teams right now entered, would love to add 10 more, once we hit 20 teams we will then only add teams if two enter...that way the tournament works out.

Remember you get 4 guaranteed round robin games, and 1 first round game, if you win first round game you move on, WINNERS will RECEIVE team Trophy (one for each division)

We are still in search of teams...get submitted now....this is a strong tournament, most of the teams who are signed up played in the state playoffs last year....this will only make your team better...

Westport Middle will be hosting it's 4th annual Derby City 7 on 7 tournament being held on Saturday May 17, 2014. The tournament will include pool play in the morning session and a single elimination tournament in the afternoon. We have officially closed this tournament for registration. We will except teams only on a conditional basis. If we have teams that drop your team can be added, but you must be confirm to be on the waiting list. If your team is not on the list of teams committed, please contact me ASAP. Team Registration Fee's must be in no later than April 25, 2014 to secure your spot. If you have a problem getting your payment in before the deadline you must contact me to make arrangements. This will eliminate any confusion during the morning registration process. We want everything to go smooth so we can start and finish on time, so please don't wait until the last minute. Pool play brackets will be sent out in two weeks with tournament rules and event logistics. Please send us your schools division, 2013 season record, and the number of students in your school if possible. This will help us determine the pairings for the brackets. If we don't receive your teams information, your team will be randomly placed for the pool play segment of the tournament. Lastly, coaches please send me a valid email that you wish to be contacted at. Please if you have questions please send them to me before April 25, 2014 all feedback is appreciated.

The tournament is THiS Saturday.....round robin match ups have been made and will be mailed to coaches soon (today/tomorrow)....this should be a great tournament...the trophy has been ordered and looks great....can't wait to get these games on...

I would like to thank all the teams that made it out today to our annual passing tournament...it was an amazing day of football and a lot of great games. A bunch came down to one play...today it was Elkhorn vs Wesport in championship game in both divisions with Westport pulling out the wins.

Next up will be the tournament being held on JUNE 7th at Frankfort middle....this will be a great run up for the UK tourney...hope all teams can make it...
