PCC looked somewhat better today. Fugate is going to help. I think Toomer will be playing come WYMT. I hear Pray isn't far behind him. PCC should start hitting on all cylinders about the end of Jan. Time will tell.

If Toomer can play the 2 guard it would be the missing link which Perry needs. Time will tell. The truth stands when all else falls. Brother Cecil.

No. 24 Perry Central 65, Simon Kenton 51: Braxton Beverly and Justin Johnson provided a strong one-two punch for Perry Central in its wire-to-wire victory.
Beverly, a 5-10 sophomore point guard, had 23 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Johnson, a 6-7 senior who has signed with WKU, had 18 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocked shots.
Johnson, who came into the game averaging 23 points and 20 rebounds, gave himself a grade of seven out of 10. He had 10 points in the first quarter before Simon Kenton started double- and triple-teaming him.
“It’s tough to make a move with that,” he said. “I tried to get my teammates more involved with kick-outs. But overall I’m happy with the win.”
Beverly, who has scholarship offers from Cleveland State, Marshall, NKU, Samford and WKU, didn’t shoot as well (10 of 18) as he wanted, but “that’s gonna happen.”
After playing with Johnson last season and this past summer, “we’ve got a real feel for one another. It’s nice.”
Coach Shannon Hoskins likes the way his Commodores (9-3) are progressing, but he knows they’ll have to get better defensively to contend with Cordia, Knott Central and Hazard in the 14th Region.
Simon Kenton was led by Noah Robinson’s 17 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Alex Childers had 15 points and five rebounds.
Perry Central 21 11 11 22 — 65
Simon Kenton 10 13 11 17 — 51
PERRY CENTRAL (9-3) — Johnson 18, Beverly 23, Tobler 12, Turner 8, Stacy 3, Hill 1.
SIMON KENTON (7-5) — Robinson 17, Childers 15, Kuntz 7, Mullins 2, Morrison 3, Vercheak 3, Dougherby 2, Pracht 2.

He played the entire 1st half and didn't play 2nd half. I was told their was some conflict between te kid and coach at halftime. I was wondering why he didn't play the kid anymore than what he did. Can you confirm the reason the coach sat their best player the entire 2nd half?
