Bell Co 63, Harlan Co 35
#1
Final.

Looks like there could be changes to our 13th Region Power Rankings.
#2
Hard to believe that score, looks like Bell may be a factor after all!
#3
Good job by coach Mo and the Bobcats!!!

I thought this would be the game we came out of the funk. I thought us by 8, this is surprising, we played well second half.
#5
Well, this escalated quickly.

Harlan County should be worried.

Harlan County is in a real tail spin. What's the problem?
#7
Dang I mis this one bad dang what going on in black bear nations. :coach:

Not sure what is wrong but something is. I hope HC turns it around. But they've lost eight of their last nine games.

I think I'm getting ready to find out what it feels like to be a fan of Whitley County football!!! LOL We only had 11 at the half!

We had a couple that were sick with the stomach bug; Bumgardener stayed in the ER all night long last night. New starting 5 with the 2 Freshman. Those things aside, we just stunk it up.

I don't know what's wrong with this team, but if we don't figure it out soon, it could be a long season for the Black Bears.

So, guess the only thing left to do is regoup and prepare for the next game.

You wish.

They shot 25 percent (11 of 44) from the field. That's been the problem for two weeks.

It doesnt matter how good or talented you are.
If you shoot that bad, anyone would lose.

Considering all of the scoring they lost from last year, this should not be shocking. But, we still expect them to be better than this, and, I know, Coach Jones and his staff is not making excuses, either. I think they'll improve, but it looks like the 52nd District is Bell County's to lose, which is not what it looked like earlier this year.

I still think the Black Bears will beat Harlan and Middlesboro and make the 13th Region tournament. It'll be incredibly intense if they take on the Green Dragons to make the trip there.

Wow a good old fashioned butt kicking.

This might have been the worst outing of a Harlan County Black Bear teams since the opening of the school. I don't know nothing about basketball or sports at that but my gosh, I am 58 years old and I could have hit some of the wide open shots HC missed. I don't care if Bobby Knight or Coach Cal is coaching HC last night they still would have got beat by 30. We have to hit easy baskets or we don't have a chance and we can sit at the house after district play.

From reading HDE's internet article, it sounds like they were out rebounded 33-21 also. When you only shoot 25% and get out rebounded by 12 it's usually not good night.

I got to see HC at home early in the season and was not inpressedv

There weak early schedule had people thinking they were little better than they really are.
