Teams like Pikeville, Hazard, Mayfield, NewCath and Beechwood(the winningest small school state championship teams since 1990), didnt get where they have gotten by fighting smongst themselves. It takes togetherness theough the good bad and ugly. Seems to me like Wburg could use alot more fans like 64 who r there through the wins AND the losses. Its one thing to critique or be unhappy with a teams performance, its another to completely distespect a players integrity and compromise his immage by getting on here and arguing over who is goina start whe he leaves.

I hope Wburg gets it together, but thus far, its seeming like Fairview all over again.

Nobody has second guessed their coaching staff more than Raceland fans in the two years I have been on this board. He doesn't run eneogh. He runs to much. They don't like his defense. The kids don't have the intensity. He can't get the kids up for the big game. He can't win the big game. All families fight. But Williamsburg and Raceland have decided to be Jersey Shore and let everybody see their warts.

^^agree with this as well. I think it crosses a line though when people start calling eachother out and trying to use names or information to expose someones real identity.

Raceland has a lot of talented coming back. They have a pretty good freshman class coming in as well. But if they do not develop a Kill or be killed mentality across the board from the coaching staff on down to the scout team, they will continue to struggle with the top dogs in the class. They made strides, but more intensity will be needed to compete with the top teams in the class year in and year out. Many times, that's not something you can really coach either. Either the team has it or they don't. Raceland played with that intensity against Fairview and at times against Pikeville. If they don't get that on a consent basis, I don't see much changing. Too much talent, strength, speed, and experience to loose by 4 scores in the quarter finals. Wburg was 2 tds better than Raceland. Raceland came out flat and deer in the headlights look took over.

Mayfield will probably repeat. Road wontbe as easy though. Frankfort and Beechwood return alot. Imo the championship game should be decided by 2tds. I think the east was very young over all this year. With Wburg and Raceland over their regional hump, look for them to make some noise for years to come. I think getting past that, will allow both Programs to build for even more success.

64, I take it by your post that you think we will only beat y'all something like 42-14 or maybe 35-14 next year. Yeah, I guess that would be a little tougher.

Pikeville loses alot in Hall, Black, and a few lineman. The lineman will be replaced w carbon copies and Hall replaced with a comittee of Pugh, Blake Charles, and probably Maynard. Pikeville is my pick to win the East next year.

Gargamel...we have 10 offensive starter back and yes we did lose sizemore at quarterback but we will have plenty of qb...Very bad news for Pikeville if y'all can hold off Raceland,paintsville and fairview then we will play...Somebody in the east will haveto play against the #1 DEFENSE in 1A Williamsburg in the east....I'm putting you on notice DEFENSE AGAIN WIN THE EAST :truestory:

Y'all?? I just picked them to represent east in 1A. Don't see you making it to Pikeville. Has the Jackets ever won a game @ Hazard?

^very few have won a playoff game at Hazard. I think the last to do it was LCA maybe?
