Shelby Valley is a solid team, like the way they played at Prestonsburg, also thought Magoffin County looked good just had a bad 4quarter against Prestonsburg . but they start two freshman in the back court so they will keep getting better. Must say the Carr kid for Shelby Valley is a player.

Up until last night's game he was averaging 23.3 points and 4.3 rebs. He was shooting 57.1% from the field, 39.4% from three, and 74.5% from the free throw line.

Coach Hicks gets an A so far this season. I am glad the Wildcats were able to get a coach to come in from the outside to take this job. Everything has fallen in to place for Hicks so far (Carr transferring in and Valley's asst. coach quitting). Keep playing hard and getting better Wildcats. Congrats on winning the tournament in P'burg!!
