Top JUCO safety AJ Stamps will sign with Kentucky today
#1
Today is the first day of the mid-year junior college signing period for college football, and Kentucky is expected to sign at least one of their four JUCO commitments in Cory Johnson. However, the big news of the morning is a surprise commitment and signing from top JUCO safety AJ Stamps.

Stamps is a 6′, 185 lbs. safety from East Mississippi Community College (Za’Darius Smith’s alma mater), and picked the Cats over Ohio State. He’s considered the 14th best JUCO safety in the country by 247Sports Composite and took an official visit to Kentucky along with Cory Johnson on November 30th for the Tennessee game.

Stamps shared the good news on Twitter minutes ago, posting the picture above, with the caption “Yea its official ya boy will be playing for the University of Kentucky next fall! #StoopsTroops #BBN #SEC #UKStandUp”

That’s some much needed help in a position the Cats need it the most. Coach Brumbaugh’s got the dice rolling:

#BBN STRIKES AGAIN for the 2nd time Let's keep it rolling!! YAHTZEE 2GAPPER

Another big pick up for UK football. Hopefully these recruits can actually translate to some conference wins the next few seasons.
