All I did was answer a question that was asked in an earlier post. Ask any coach they'll tell ya they try to play teams to prepare them for the playoffs. The speed of teams like Central and others is not something we see locally very much. I'm not saying our mountain teams ain't good, cause they are, but no one can deny that their not as quick as many of the city teams. Yeah we lost to Central three years in a row. So what? So has almost every other AAA team.

Are you saying we seek them out because we knew they had speed and were like Central. You make a great point, but, we had no idea what we were getting into until we went and watched them scrimmage way after we scheduled them.
I do think it is a much better team than Williamsburg, and much better for us. But , I have to drive 4 hours the first week of the season next year. We could have found one closer.

Not so fast my friend, I am talking about my point of view, not what is best for the team. There is a difference. I just don't want to drive to Alabama/ TN. line. South. Pitt would do to Williamsburg what Mayfield did to them. Make no mistake about it. Did we know a lot about them ..NO. But Williamsburg is not in the same ballpark with them.

Not saying we knew exactly what they run, but their reputation is well known.

Bell fans back on here when season over. Why don't they schedule better. I would love to see them and Belfry and or Johnson Central. I heard from Williamsburg fans this weekend that Bell would not play them last year.
