Not sure it would have made a difference but Owsley County had 2 starters out, and of course what would have been a 3rd starter, senior Joey Grove, transferred to Buckhorn 2 weeks ago.

The Owls will just have to regroup and hang in there. They still potentially have a good team that could still win the district or make it to the regional tournament, which is about all the 56th district and 55th district teams have to shoot for this season considering the powerhouses in the 53rd and 54th districts.
