In my opinion, Johnson Ventral should be just as strong if not stronger defensively and almost as strong on the offensive line, but Jc is losing Blume, i beleive that Jc will do as good or better as they did in 05

Who runs JC's offense, and defense?(coaches)
02-01-2006, 01:14 PM
good question???

Many coaches....offense is matney, while defense is mostly coach reeves

Central should be as good as they were last season. Some development in the defensive secondary and they will be better than last year. District title comes down to Ashland game late in the year (again). Central should have the upper hand this year.

Without Blume, I find it hard for JC to do anything even closely compared to what they did on offense last year. Even when Blume had his off games he was always a threat and coaches were always watching where he was on the field every play. I didn't watch them play much but, in the Apple Bowl, the Belly Pass was wide ass open everytime because everyone was always to concerned with Blume. This year I don't think JC has a player that has the chance to break one at any given time like they had in Blume. Therefore, it will be much easier on opposing teams not having to focus in on Road Runner lol...

As long as the line steps up they should do just fine

yeah we should be alright

Haha now that's funny! I mean Grim don't get me wrong he's a pretty good little back but, he's no Blume. Without Blume, JC's screwed! Write it down...

Yea right! Get real man, we will be fine...We may not have Blume, but we are now two dimensional with a passing QB! And Grim is a good back and will have alot of yards on the year. He may not be as fast as Blume, but he is stronger. Plus, we have the best fullback in the mountains! Can't wait for season to come so we can prove you wrong!

Your crazy warrior. Blume was an excellent back but he wasnt the only reason we did as well as we did. Just cause we loose him doesnt mean we are screwed. I think your the one screwed up in the head. :Hammer3:

Also I don't know if eathier of these boys are tough enough to play this game...I cant say that much about Jesse Meeks but I dont remember Justin ever playing football. IMO it would be pretty stupid for Justin to play football this late in his career. Why would you risk a promising baseball career. As far as being tough enough there is know doubt that he would be tough enough, he's probably the very best athlete in that whole school. I've seen him do some pretty stupid stuff on the baseball field and the basketball court as far as punishing his body. I can only imagine the crazy stuff he would try on the football field. It wouldn't make sence to wait until your senior year to play.

Justin hasnt played since sixth grade. He is a great athlete and i think he could help out.

Meeks has played football before and was really good from what i've heard, and they are both as tough as they come.
02-06-2006, 11:42 PM
I believe Meeks played at Warfield or Inez
02-07-2006, 12:12 AM
Haha okat whatever you guys say! But, I do believe that Blake Johnson will be JC's biggest threat.
02-07-2006, 12:46 AM
probably
02-07-2006, 07:33 PM
You guys will be all right but, don't expect to be as good as you were last season because that's just not going to happen... So don't kid yourself guys!
