Look, while I will say that starting a thread about it just to rub it in their face is not exactly my style, you have to understand that some of the Caldwell fans bought this thread nearly a year ago when they started claiming this year's state title before actually having to play for it. If you had told me before the game Friday that Caldwell was going to lose, then I'd say it was easy money that they were going to get ragged on for their bragging in the pre-season.

And that's what this post is for. I never thought Caldwell would lose. Like I've said, NCC was clearly the best team in 11, no question. Holy cross rolled to a state title that season after NCC played the worst game it could play and HC kicks a last second FG to win 24-21. Somerset in 12, IMO, was the most talented team. Best team doesn't always win.
