Camron justice is best in the region
#11
Braxton Beverly is the best PG in the Mountains if not the entire
state. Cam Justice is the best shooting guard. Justin Johnson is
the best big man.
#12
Justice may be the best scorer but all around player its Beverly, He can handle the ball and he runs the team and he can score. Justice can score but hes not a ball handler...Both are good players ones a point guard the other is a shooting guard. Both need to work on defensive skills.

Hold up on that car wash gentlemen saying Beverly is the best pg in the state come on man you need to wake up and smell the coffee,Beverly is a good player and may be the best pg in the state in a couple of years but he is not there yet he is good though. It is obvious what school people on here are from like the rock but let's just take off those commodore goggles for a minute and look at things realistic. Rick bolus player rankings for the state has them listed like this these are the 14th region player as listed by him: Malik Hines ,cordia will be elidigible by mid December , cam justice kcc,Justin Johnson pcc, fritz Lucien cordia, christen Cunningham cordia, in the second 25 listed alphabetically Beverly pcc, Chris Hudson hazard, oumar keita cordia, the third 25 listed alphetically Evan hall kcc, Wes Nobel breathitt co. Honorable mention Simon christan kcc, Felix frimprom cordia, josh Holliin hazard, aj tagaloa cordia. Those are the top 14 players players listed in the 14th region any thing past the top 5 is listed in alphabetical order so those can be up for debate in what order you list them. This thread started as best pg in the 14 th region and morphed into the best players so I thought I would list these facts not some option by some smart ass fan that can't see anything but their school.

For anyone to honestly believe someone besides Braxton is the best pg in the 14th is insane. Be realistic ppl
#18
Ballers has something personal against Beverly. See, when beverly was in the 7th grade he dropped about 40 pts on him n a Dustbowl game and his life hasn't been the same since.

Buford ole boy Braxton is much improved since last year. I'm not a.big believer in Cordia Prep. Sorry. Maybe when I see their whole team play, I may become a believer. I really think Beverly is that good. Sorry if that bothers you.

:biglmao::biglmao::biglmao:Well rock I don't smell what the rock is cooking and I surely have not been drinking the punkin kool aid. To make the statement that he is the best pg in the state is just ignorant. Do you honesty think he is better than quintin Snyder or goodin. He is good for a sophomore he may be the best when he is a senior but he is not there yet as all these recruiting services imply. Really Cunningham is a d1 player and is more athletic and bigger than he is cc will dunk on you if you don't belly him up. It is a good thing rock you don't work a for a college program as their head recruiter or you would be out of a job quick here is some advice for you don't quit your day job if you have one.:biglmao:

My advice to you is start supporting a team that's gonna be around
for a while you stupid idiot and stay up in Lotts Creek. Your program will be back
in shambles when they do away with all that illegal recruiting that's
going on up there in the holler. Beverly may not be the best pg in the
state but he's the best pg to ever come out of this region. Not saw Snider or Cunningham play. If they are better more power to them. I hope Rod and his Hired Guns do well.
They are just kids and deserve to play no matter if its illegal or not. I hear
there's a big 7 footer from Nigeria on sale at eBay right now. Better fly the plane out to get him tomorrow. Now you smell what the Rock is cookin??????

They play basketball at Harvard?

Everyone and every scouting service has their own opinion of who the best is at every position and so does everyone on this site. Here is what I will tell you Buford. Cunningham is a very nice PG. I've watched him since he came to Scott County from Indy as a 8th grader. I would love to see him do well. Good kid and smart kid. If he were as good as you say i think teams bigger would b throwing out the offers considering he is a senior. Not taking anything away from him. Quentin Goodin is also a great player but is a combo guard. He also starting out playing in the EYBL w/ Beverly this season on the 16U team. Beverly was pulled up to 17U and then took the starting PG roll from the one of the best PG in the state James"Beetle" Bolden. Only time will tell on how good all these kids will be in the end. Beverly is a MUCH better player this season than he was last season from what ive seen from him so far. If I had to pick the best PG in this state it would b Snider and a close 2nd would b Beverly.

Sounds familiar.

How do you bet on something as subjective as who the best PG is?

They both played at the Ky Elite thing the other day and it was OBVIOUS who the better player was.

Will AJ lose his spot when all of these kids get eligible?

Here's a write-up on Beverly from tripledoubleprospects.com

Quote:Braxton Beverly – ’16 PG Perry Central (KY): Since we saw Beverly last in April at the Boo Williams Invitational on the EYBL circuit, the sophomore point guard out of Southwestern Kentucky has added a little size and muscle to his game. He’s still on the smaller end, but there aren’t many kids in the country who have the toughness and basketball savvy of Beverly. In fact, it could be argued that, other than Quentin Snider, Beverly is the best pure point guard in either Ohio or Kentucky in high school basketball right now. He makes great decisions with the ball, knows how to drive with the intent of passing and is deceptive with his changes in speed, allowing him to finish surprisingly well in traffic.

I know I talked a lot of junk to Buford BUT, I hope Cordia gets every single kid eligible (because they all have the god given right to play) so they can create pure havoc in this region. I love seeing good teams play each other. Makes the price of admission much more worth while. Good luck to Cordia, their players, coaches, and the school.

Some Pcc fans get really butt hurt on here over small jokes lol...

Ill say Beverly is the best pg in region right now, but there's a lot of ball to be played this year. Good luck to all teams.
