That's a bunch of the top ones in no particular order.

#11
McDaniels,McDaniels and McDaniels is without a doubt the best in region and no one is close to him!!!!
#12
I agree with redstorm, its not really close. Another point I'd like to make is their is some pretty good individual talent in the 13th. Here's my top ten at this point of the year

McDaniel-Clay
Fox-Jackson
Allen-Clay
Barger-KC
Baxter-SL
Poindexter-Mboro
Potter- Bell
Miller-Harlan
Collier-JC
Broughton-NL
A bunch of good players not on this list, Smith, Wolfe, and Farmer from Clay, Lawson and Hammonds from JC, Marsee and the good shooter from KC, Griffin and Shelton from Wburg, Foister from Mboro just to name a few.
#13
1. McDaniell - Clay
2. Fox - Jackson
3. Allen - Clay
4. Baxter - South
5. Barger - Knox
6. Potter - Bell
7. Poindexter - Middlesboro
8. Miller - Harlan
9. Collier - Jackson
10. (T) Griffin - Williamsburg and Broughton - North

Few more right on the cusps. Foister from Middlesboro nearest one.
#14
Skyler Griffith, Andrew Griffith, and Corey Shelton from williamsburg should be on the list.
#15
Not yet. They have to win a lot more games than four or five to have that many mentioned among the region's best.

Not a bad list.... Allen has to actually produce before he can be that high. Miller might be a bit overrated. other than that, not bad. Strange to see a list of 10 and no one mentions anyone from Corbin. But i'm betting they still win the district they are in.

thats true.it takes a team to win,not just ONE good player.i remember the 5 years the miller kid played at knox.he was a good player but the team never could get over the hump, and the coach let him run the team so to speak.it cost them a trip to state and his job.i would rather have 5 decent players that buy into team effort than 1 guy padding his stats and hat size.thats why these "name the best players"are always good for laughs.

Not even close EKY? Really? There is a lot of good talent around the region. Not taking anything away from McDaniels, but he is not the best player in the region. Great shooter and very good in the clutch but below average defensive player. I would love to see Fox and McDaniels go one on one. No way McDaniels wins that matchup.
#19
General Jackson, yea its not even close. I think that was proven last yr in the 4th quarter at Clay.
#20
Haha...you mean the 4th qtr in Clay Co where he shot 18 free throws?
#21
There seems to be a lot of talent spread among several teams this year. (I don't believe Clay County have the top 7 players in the region all on 1 team, which is what some people sound like). I'm very anxious to see what players have improves the most from last year to this year.
#22
Surpises me that no one has thrown Donnie Foister in the mix. The kid has made multiple big plays last year throughout the entire season. Is very explosive to watch and creates a lot of energy. Foister and Poindexter are a very explosive and dangerous combination. Excited to see what they can pull together this year.
#23
McDaniel. Clay County
#24
Fox. Jackson County.
