This one could be a good one. Colts make a return trip after beating Glasgow last year on their field. I'm sure Glasgow will use that as some motivation this week in practice. I enjoyed our trip down there last year, they have some great facilities, and nice people. Looking forward to a great game, with no injuries, and both teams leaving it all on the field. Let the best team win!

Should be a good one but I will go with the Colts.

I know how bad the Colts want a chance at redemption versus CAL, so I say DeSales by 10+ points, and a date with the Centurions next week.

Dream. You don't even know. lol After some of the comments that the CAL QB made after the game that found it's way to some of our players social media, This team wants to punish CAL. DeSales vs CAL is really heating up as one of the better rivalries. As long as we don't turn the ball over, we'll handle them. It killed us last game with them.

This should be a great game with Glasgow getting the rematch they wanted.

This is a big time 2nd round matchup. desales brought a lot back but so did Glasgow. Desales better be careful not to overlook the Scotties. Glasgow played them tough last year and if they had any passing game could have won. The Colts are a much better team but that's a long trip to Glasgow and this is the rematch Glasgow has been waiting for. Should be a great game! Wish I could see it! I look for a low scoring game with Desales winning 20-19. Might come down to a FG!

Glasgow knows what we are going to do. We are going to pound the ball like last year. If they can stop it then they certainly have a chance to beat us. One thing I think that gets overlooked is our defense. We have a damn good one. Our line play has been solid all year, and they are very disciplined. The other advantage is every game is a road game for us. We don't have a home field. It's not that long of a trip to Glasgow besides we take coach buses everywhere we go anyway.

Two very good football teams. Glasgow's only loss was to Somerset, but didn't play a very tough schedule, while Desales played a killer schedule. Desales 35 - 21.

Desales will be to much for Glasgow this year.

Desales schedule is one of the most overrated in the state. John Hardin and Warren Central are legit but after that it's horrible. They did play CAL cause they had to in their district. They basically had 3 tough games and 7 byes. I give them props for playing the 2 5A schools, but give me a break on this toughest schedule garbage.

Glasgow didn't play any world beaters. Desales overall schedule was still much tougher than Glasgow's. Desales did beat 2 of the 3 better teams they played, and all was on the road. The lose to CAL was a very close one 27-24.

I'll be rooting for whoever comes out of this game going forward. I have a rooting interest with both teams.

You are right Blackcat about Glasgow's schedule. I was just pointing out Desales' schedule cause they are always bragging about it. If it makes a difference CAL played no one other than Male out of district as well. And I believe Male was looking forward to playoff time when that meeting occurred. It won't matter now tho, everyone left is good. I think Glasgow v Desales will be a classic.

DeSales opponents went 53-52 for the year. We still have 5 teams on our schedule that have playoff games tonight. Glasgow's opponents went 51-58 and they have 3 teams on the schedule that are playing tonight. We have 2 common opponents Washington Co, and Metcalf. We beat both worse, Both were running clocks for the entire second half. It's the playoffs. Anything can happen. I still just look at the Somerset game for Glasgow. I think they were by far the best team you played. They beat you 35-13. It wasn't close at all.
Everyone knows, we are going to try and ram the ball down your throats. If you stop it, you beat us. Simple. If we get up early, and having success on the ground, then it could be a long night for Glasgow. I know the Scotties want the rematch after last year. Well you got it! I hope we move on and get the teams that we want rematches with.
Here's to a safe game, no injuries, and good sportsmanship!
