Every game I watch this year is just a reminder of how Joker Phillips in just 3 short years turned UK football from a respectable SEC program to a total SEC laughing stock! Can anyone imagine if Barnhart and company had given this fine fella another year? We would probably looking to get UPike and Lindsey Wilson on our schedule to provide us with a couple wins! We play a game in the GREAT SEC against a top 10 team and we only get 4 or 5 posts on this website about it? That is a mind boggling sad state of affairs IMO.... We have to give Stoops and company a complete pass on this year unfortunately due to the totally incompetent job done by his predecessor! Next year is a different story however, we will need to see improvement and we will need to get off of this lengthy winless streak in the SEC if Stoops and his crew expect to get the respect I believe he longs for.

IMO If we do not get to 5 wins next year it is going to get real hard to get the type of recruit we have got since Stoops got here.

IMO Stoops is on the right track at UK. I think UK's defense has really improved. When Stoops gets LB's, DTs and DBs that he recruited in the starting line up the UK Defense will be really good. I think UK's biggest weakness on Offense is the LINE! I just don't see much talent on this line at all! I really think that for UK to have a chance to compete in the SEC they must have strong offensive lines that are stocked with future pros. It's common sense, the SEC is loaded with future NFL defensive linemen and it's going to take future NFL offensive linemen to block them. You may have one "Project" type linemen that becomes great but they are few and far between. This seasons O-line is made up of project type guys who couldn't start at any other SEC School. QB play will really improve when the O-line play improves. Odds are that UK will not win another game this season but I think they will be in every game and maybe they can get lucky.

They had more of an answer than anybody we have , you need to quit looking at everything through the BLUE MIST and start seeing thing in real life. We made no improvement from last year, The JOKE won the same two games last year. We will be lucky to win three games next year and then the recruits will dry up. Then the fan base will be screaming for his head and look who we have making decisions it will only get worse. this why we needed a proven coach not a family name.
