Congrads somerset on a very very hard fought win... I myself will be the 1st to say I give no chance for Betsy lane but they proved me wrong... Hat off to those kids as they played there heart out.

Listened to it on the radio. At this pace, we'll be lucky to win the next.
I would love to blame the refs because apparently a lot of iffy calls according to the radio announcers but just didn't sound like a pretty game..
But hey, If we played the next four games like that and came out with a win every time I'd take it.

Congrats to Somerset on the win. A very big hats off to Betsy Layne for a great game. Everyone projected them to get blown out, but they were in the game until the end. Another great big hats off to Coach Red Parsons who has taken a program that was at the bottom of the barrel and now has them battling toe to toe with one of the better teams in Class 2A. Great season BLHS and Coach Parsons!

Betsy Layne had every chance to win tonight...congrats on a hard fought game.

Jumpers made the plays they needed to...still have not put a complete game together this entire season...hopefully they keep building to that!

I think they did against Hazard.. Best game in my opinion by the jumpers even though they loss.

They played much better against Glasgow. Somerset was really beat up against Hazard.

I agree that Betsy Layne has improved but come on, they played Jenkins, South Floyd, Allen Central...etc...I guess if we all played those teams we would be 9-1 also. Play a tougher schedule next year and I am sure they will gain more respect.

Coach Parsons: band-aid a program for a few years and walk away... Let's see if "BA" will do the same...:igiveup:

Pit, just because Parsons didn't let u come and coach doesn't mean you have to be bitter toward the program. Good Luck at Hurley. I'm glad we got you out of the state.

What does any of that have to do with them being so improved? I know you think playing a tougher schedule would make them better...... Maybe, maybe not. Allen Central and South Floyd are in county rivals and are good gates for the program. As far as Coach Parsons band-aiding the program and leaving..... I really don't think so. He has had opportunities for different jobs, but he's a Betsy Layne boy and I don't expect him to leave.

So Betsy layne is getting rid of Coach Parsons? I was going to believe you but you thought you could get ER's iob. Brad Allen will never coach at Betsy Layne. He's building a solid team with a good staff as East Ridge.

Hey listen, coach parsons isn't going anywhere. I talked to him last night, he is a Betsy Layne boy, and will always coach them. Kranz, don't always believe what you hear. Congrats on a great season Bobcats and since we have been eliminated, let's root for our neighbors!

Are you stupid, or just clinically delusional? This is a serious question. We all remember your last debacle with "BA", as you call him. You proclaimed upon the mightiest of truths that Kranz would be the HFC at ER this past season. Red will remain the HFC a BL and Allen will remain HFC at ER. Surely you know in Vegas that credit runs out eventually?

Much respect for the Betsy Layne Football Program. I didn't give you guys a chance in this game. I am glad you proved me wrong. I rushed to my vehicle to listen to final minutes of this game. You guys have came a long way over the last few years and the future looks bright. Keep your heads up & keep moving in the right direction.

Good luck to you guys next year, except of course when you play my Blackcats.
