So lets hear your list of favorites.......
Hot Chocholate - Ashland
Popcorn - Lawrence Co.
Pizza - Paintsville
Cheeseburgers - Johnson Central

Feel free to add other food items.

Raceland does it up right.
(Pulp - Paintsville doesn't serve pizza at football games, but we do serve up some outstanding grub.)

1) Nachos-Pikeville
2) Pizza-Belfry
3) Coffee-SERIOUSLY GOOD COFFEE Hazard
Not gonna judge anyone else. Paintsville had the worst run concession stand I've ever seen at a football game. Went there for the Pikeville game this year, and after 30 minutes in line, I figured I'd go back and watch the game since I had actually already paid for it. But the Fazoli's there rocks :-)

Dixie Heights has a very good soft pretzel. Run far away from their burgers though.
I'll second the chick-fil-a at Ryle.
Covcath has a quality burger.
Simon Kenton has a mean walking taco.

That's a hell of a rude post. Going after the Moms?

No different, for example, than the poster above who said to "run far away" from someone's burgers. Isn't that insulting some lady's cooking if you want to be so sensitive? It's not a slam on the moms. If the boosters or whomever did not anticipate a big crowd and get more volunteers out to help expedite the line, it's on them. I know how hard concession stand work is, I've done it many times for different sports, including football. Chill. I've gotten several pm's from Forearm shiver, and like I told him, you don't have to like my opinion. It is mine, period. Grow a set, eh?

Hands down my favorite concession stand food is at Farview . I think they have the best hot dogs , & Pizza around , but my most favorite food i can get from Fairview ( which is my favorite concession food period) is the pulled pork bbq nachos , & cheese . My goodness my mouth is watering for it now .....on a different note i just dont understand the love affair with Raceland's concession . Well i think i know , everytime i get a burger or sausage from there i always ask for no onions but it always taste like onions ( like if it was cooked near onions ) and i absolutely detest onions ! I would rather eat what comes out of a dogs behind than to have to taste an onion ! Lol

The biggest problem with their concessions is the stand itself. It is basically just an empty block building with nothing inside but coolers and counters. The school needs to sink some money into it, and set it up to cook and serve food so these Moms won't have to work in such a clusterblank.

If it were set up better, those ladies would have it so much easier. Hope the school or boosters is able to make it happen for those hard workers.

I must admit. If your game is at Raceland you will put on some pounds. They can cook up some good food.

In all seriousness while my favorite concession food is what i posted , i will admit Raceland overall has one of the best concession stands for most people , but i really do hate onions with an extreme passion , & it does seem every time i get something there it taste like its been cooked with/ close to onions so for me thats would be the only reason i dont like it , but they do have a good funnel cake ! Lol

What has happened to concessions at Paintsville??? They always had great food. Slow service and a bad set up, but their food was top notch. The homemade hot dog sauce and the specials they had for every game were great. This year there is no popcorn, no specials, the hot dog sauce is very much like Alpo (nasty as crap), and I don't even like canned pop. I will bring my own and I recommend any one else to do the same. It's a good thing the DQ is so close by. SMH

I was told that they have a different group doing concessions this season. The school is not involved in it now.

Ive been to some schools in far EKY where I was to scared to eat anything from the concession stand. Pretty much anywhere else I go all taste the same. Doesn't matter the hot dogs, nachos, etc. Its all one in the same.
