1. Perry won region in 2011
2. Buckhorn and PCC played KCC in the past two region finals. Both are Perry county schools.
3. Untill the region championship game last season PCC beat both Knott county teams every time they played them. 4-1 on the season vs them.
So it is far from all about Knott county and it wont be this year either. Perry could easily be the team winning region. Dont count out Hazard because Big Al is the best coach in the region and dont forget about the ultimate underdogs at Buckhorn.

Hold up on that car wash gentlemen. Hazard might have the best x and o man but a donkey never won the kentucky derby. Players make coaches coaches don't make players. It wouldn't matter if hazard resurrected Adolph rupp they just don't have the players to win and big al knows it. I think it is a absolute joke and it speaks for the way people in the 14th region view talent. That is why the 14th region has not won anything in about 60 years. Teams like buckhorn with a 6'2" BIG MAN is over. The region is a three team race buckhorn and hazard have 2 chances slim and none and slim just left town.

On another note the only,reason that there is any hype around hazard is because of big Ira combs taking care of his buddy al holland ranking them 14 in the state pre season that is a absolute joke. Hazard never won anything last year and never made it out of the district and they have them ranked like that. They load their schedule up with a bunch of cupcakes that is why they won 20 games last year and by the looks of their schedule it looks like another winning season for the dogs hahaha. What hazards problem is al has to play the kids who's daddy has the biggest bill fold and if that put points on the board hazard would be state champion but un fortunately for them it don't work that way and they will just have to settle for early exits in the tourney and a lot of cupcake wins in the season but mommy and daddy are happy.until al stops playing all the big shots and gets him some ball players that is the way it will be. The only kid he has that even resembles a ball player he had to steal from Cordia.

LOL. I find it hilarious that you accuse Hazard of stealing a ball player that Cordia stole from Texas. What is that saying "there is no honor amongst thieves."

I have been one of the most vocal critics of the officiating at the Punkin Palace but during the regional tournament it has been a different story. They cannot always depend on their handpicked 14th Region referees to bail them out. The last two regional tournaments held at PCC were won by Whitesburg and Hazard.

The Cordia fans and band wagon jumperons are already laying the groundwork for them being the victims of a conspiracy. They feel like they have done nothing wrong as other schools have done some things similar in the past so that makes it perfectly alright for them to do it. If they lose, they got cheated. If anyone cheers against them or disagrees with what they are doing, they are racists. I will bet money if everything doesn't go their way this year. They will go crying and cowtailing to the media claiming they are victims of a huge racial conspiracy when their three biggest threats for a regional title has had more African-American players in the last ten years than Cordia has had in the history of the school up to this point. I know most of these players are actually coming to Cordia for the academic challenges this exceptional educational institution provides(have you seen the lastest test scores). I say Big Alice is proud of what she has achieved by hook or by crook. The KHSAA is useless and helpless due to the legislature and judges intervening with their own personal interests. Who makes up the legislature and judgeships? Politicians. Who are usually politicians? Crooks. So Cordia and their fans, faculty, staff, and oh yeah, Big Alice, have sold their soul for a few years of adulation and recognition knowing they have violated every rule and regulation in the bylaws, but feeling they are holier than thou. I kind of hope Cordia wins the region and makes a deep run in the state tournament. If this happens, you will see a change of attitude by both the KHSAA and the legislature as there will be a lot of schools in the state with a great deal of power and control that will be as "Ballers" likes to say "butthurt".
