I'm going to add something to this, still out of troll mode. nicker:
Not to threadjack, but I remember what it was like going through school with academics, lacking the confidence at his age to succeed. Getting THIS high of a score on his ACT exam is a paragon of how hard he worked on this, as I would guess the percentages of people who get this high of a score are extremely low (I would guess Belfry's state title game winning percentages are a lot higher nicker.
I am glad he has really set forth the effort to maximize his potential at such a young age. It took failing a class my first college semester and finally developing a solid mentor network to overcome my confidence issue and realize how powerful I could be academically, on my job, and even more surprising, a driven leader and public speaker - skills that I never knew I had. It led me to be amongst the best and most well-rounded in my class in school.
My point being - it's not about me, but this young man is obviously light years ahead of where I was at his age. He can attend any school in the country for free, and has the potential to do well more than I did. I hope he busts some doors down and makes some big things happen in school, both for himself and his community. The number of people who actually have a work ethic are more few and far between than ever. I hope he continues to put that great work ethic to use and realizes the sky is the limit.
