To me, He reminds me a little of Lebron James. He has great all around game and has a motor similar to MKG! Other comparisons?

Chris Webber and Amar'e Stoudemire. Kenny Walker watched a scrimmage last week and said he's the best big man at UK since Shawn Kemp. Coming from Kenny,, that's a big compliment as he rarely ever says anything about any UK player like that. Getting Randle was more important than getting a Wiggins.

I wouldn't go as far as saying he is better than Wiggins before a game is played and the first practice was yesterday but you could be right in the end. We shall see in a few months though!

Never said he was better in my statement,, said he was more important to UK this season. But since you brought it up, I will venture to say that for this one upcoming year in their first year of college basketball,, Randle will be the better all around player. Randle is already fit for the NBA,, Wiggins not so much yet. Wiggins will be great,, but he's not as of yet. If was drafting on talent as of this moment alone,, Randle would go over Wiggins hands down. Wiggins has superstar potential,, he's nowhere near his potential body wise. However at year's end Wiggins will be drafted #1,, but it's not set in stone,, Randle could slide ahead if the right team gets top spot and needs a power forward baaaaad.

This is the only reason Wiggins didn't commit to play for the cats IMO. Is he better than Randle? Yea probably, but Randle being more of a team player would have shined IMO a little brighter than him.

No,, no blue tinted glasses on. Wiggins needs to add 20 or so lbs of muscle, and add upper body strength for the NBA. He'd get knocked around pretty easy on the block and driving into the lane in the NBA. Randle is already built for the NBA. He'll kill smaller forwards this season,, and some bigger slower forwards. Is my whole point. Over time,, Wiggins may well be as great as is being made out to be. But it's still potential at this point. Anyone will tell you this,, pretty sure Matt would also. This upcoming season,, their only year of college,, Randle will be the better all around player than Wiggins. Wiggins may average a few more points,, but Randle will have more rebounds,, more block's,, more disruption on the block,, and more inflicted bruises on opponents.

NBA scouts attended a practice recently and came away with great impressions of James Young. Going as far as saying he might just be the best player on the team this year,, along with the best player in the country. I think he is very underrated by us cat fans and especially the nation. Has the highest vertical on the team followed by EJ Floreal and Marcus Lee. Kid can flat out shoot anywhere on the court.

I would say that the Chris Weber comparisons is right on key! I just hope Randle can win an NCAA title. Something Weber never could accomplish!!!

Do you all think that one Harrison twin would stay while the other turned pro?
Makes me think theyll get drafted different places anyways, so why would it matter, but i think if one stays, they both do.

1 may go pro so he can take care of his br while he still at school,so we dont get busted,lol

I like the Chris Webber comparison.
It's tough to find a really good comparison for Randle because he's so versatile. He is a monster in the paint, but can be proficient outside as well. That's what I think he improves on most in his time at UK, his outside game, even though we'll see much less of it compared to his post game.
By February, Randle should be a weapon that no other team in the nation can match.
As for Wiggins, people said the same crap about Kevin Durant gaining muscle, lol. Wiggins will get there, but there is no question in my mind that he could definitely play in the NBA and be successful this season, just as I think Randle could.
