Ryle @ Cov Cath 10/12
#1
I think the Raiders can manage to pull this one out if the can continue to run Woolf

Raiders 14 Cov Cath 0

Have not seen Ryle play this year. Have seen CovCath look very good against Boone County and Dixie and Beechwood. Cov Cath could not handle the teams from Highlands and Moeller. Based on the schedule, I would put Ryle in the class of Beechwood and Boone County and not Moeller or Highlands. I have to give the nod to Colonels, but look forward to the game on Saturday.

Cov Cath by 12.

It's not the same CovCath that hung 48 on Boone County in week 1, but even if they lose 30 points with injuries, they still beat Ryle 18-0. Still with the XP bugaboos, though.

The Cannon Still Roars.....

What's the status of the Ryle RB/ FB Lex McGregor or Vince Jarvis? Did they not play against Boone Co?
#6
Jarvis was playing NG for Ryle on Friday vs Boone. He played exceptional despite playing in limited time. That kid is a fire plug and I would expect to see him with more snaps at FB this week. They had LB Meiman play FB and he did well but he is not someone you can hand the ball to like Jarvis is.

McGregor is still out but I was told will return this week. Woolf has stepped into the feature back role and I would expect him to stay there but I would expect them to use McGregor as a spell back since Woolf will go both ways.

A backfield with Jarvis and Woolf is a scary combo for a 3 and short.
I would say they will runs some screens with McGregor if Rolteski stays the QB this week because he does not have the QB passing ability that Brandt did.

I would expect a heavy dose of Warner's Tackle over offensive set to control the clock and run with his big backs. A lot of this will depend on who will be QB this week though.

The tackle over set I am speaking of puts
Sowards 6'2" 285 LT
Hall 6'1" 270 RT
Hiles 6'2" 235 LG
Ross 6'3" 270 C

That's a lot of pushing power on the Left with Woolf or Jarvis running the ball behind it.
They switched former RT Teepen 6'4" 240 to RG with TE Lamore 6'2" 230 beside him. It gives them a "Buffalo Package" to move the ball and control the clock.

For this that were told the game was at 1:30 pm the game is at 1:00 pm start. Make sure you spread the info as there were some that hapoened to be misinformed

Good luck Raiders but one correction Lamore is not close to 6'2 maybe 5'10 the 230 I would believe he is strong as a bear as well

I put there listings from the roster
In real life you minus and inch or two or three off all but Sowards, Teepen, and Ross. Confusednicker:

Everyone knows only 5-10 kids are listed at there actual height and weight on a 6a roster :biglmao:

I've watched McGregor play since he was 6 years old. He is a good kid but chronically injured as he has never played a complete season in any sport, even track.

Should be a good game. Is covered Catholic healthy?
