WOW, guess you can not crown anyone the front runner in 5a besides bowling green, what is the deal, best qb in the country and not really playing well last few weeks.
09-30-2013, 01:54 PM
Even so id Barker hasn't played well the past four weeks, he's still better than the two playing for the Cats right now. lol

This just isnt 5A's year.
Bowling Green is great.
I cant say that about another 5A team. Some are good, like your Pulaski's, etc., but for the most part, nobody in 5A is consistently winning against good competetion this year except for BG.
After the the Mccallie school out of TN, I congratualated BG on there 15-0 season, and i think thats going to hold very true.

^Looks like nobody is going to remotely challenge the Purples for the title. It's a shame there isin't 4 classes instead of 6. Finals would have been interesting.

Or if Highlands moved up to 5A....Oh wait, they wouldn't win all those titles would they.

Wonder if these losses piling up for Conner will have an effect on the Mr. Football voting? Wonder if Barker will have Trent Dilfer call the pollsters and reasure them of his worthiness? Hope sportsmanship is a factor.....
