Who cares Middlesboro is laying an absolute egg and maybe thats the reason maybe it isnt but a team laying the ball on the ground all night with fumbles and penalties is IMO contributed to the ride on a freaking bus. Now it looks like Middlesboro mentally wasnt ready tonight whether this the reason or not but Middlesboro has not been nearly this bad all year long and by the sounds of it Pikeville has nothing to do with it.

Floyd Branaham at linebacker helps , and we were good on special teams as well. This team is improved , but could not stay on the field with the 94,95,96,97,98,99,2002,2003,2005 and 2006 teams. One state championship, 3 state semi, and a bunch of regional appearances those teams played defense.

I guess us Middlesboro fans need to slow down and remember where this program was and where it has been the last few years and realize while Middlesboro is improved from recent years they are still not on the level that the program once was. Its easy to get carried away when you win some games especially over Bell County (which we havent beaten in 100 years). It is what it is.

If Middlesboro loses they lose thats fine, but long bus rides cause 15 and 16 yr old kids to lose focus and not play their best and that is clearly alot on why Mboro is fumbling like crazy and getting penalty after penalty. They are not mentally strong enough to deal and Pikeville is taking advantage as a good team should do.
