Will Johnson Central be District Champs 06
#61
You have to think JC has the ability and the want to take a title home. If you have to step back and look at wht JC has done. They made a total around and a playoff berth all they they want now is that elusive district title.

It doesnt matter now and i do agree the cheated loss will only make next years victory at home all the more sweeter. Lets just win that title.

biggun.7.06 Wrote:I do have a hard time believeing that because i seen on the film that showed the spinklers on dunrin the game. Well if you so so i wont call you a lair but ah well no one can say that the field goal wasnt good.

So the players on the field (on both teams) and the officials didn't see the sprinklers on? But you did? Do you really think an official would let the game continue if the sprinkler system were on during an already wet game where it was raining? Or is it a possibility that you saw water splashing up when rain water was hitting standing water on the field (even water that was standing but lower than the height of the grass)?

The sprinklers were never on. And it did rain. But if you look at the Lawrence @ JC game and the Ashland game, why was the Ashland game so much more muddy? The Lawrence and JC game monsooned, I have never saw rain like that EVER before. What kind of grass does Ashland have???

Stop makin' excuses for us losing to Ashland, take it like a man and realize it.

We have Burmuda grass at Ashland.

The reason it was so muddy is because we play a lot of games on that field. JV on Mondays, Freshmen on Thursday, JFL on Saturdays, and Varsity on Fridays. It just so happened the week of the JC game it had been raining all week and there had been a freshman and jv game already during that week.

I think we should be pretty good even though we did loose our leading rusher. We have lots of potential. If we can get our guys in the weight room theirs no doubt we should bring home the district title.

Does anyone know if the LC transfer is eligible?

wow. is this the JC excuse thread? Ashland won the game 13-10.
I have the utmost respect for JC but saying that we waterd down the field, and wore mud cleats and turned on the sprinkler system are all "excuses" of why you lost. All that matters is the upcoming season, and i hope we get the privelage of seein JC in the district championship game again. But until then Ashalnd Tomcats are the 2005 district champs.
