I been hearing around Buckley Creek that PCC will have a new coach next season. As for Chapman he will be going back to Jackson. It will be a shame If he leaves. He finally has this team looking good with Air Raid/Spread Option mix offense. I been hearing Keith Mills from Belfry Middle School and will be installing Belfry's offense next season. Have you all heard anything?

He has definitely done a good job tutoring his quarterback. Kid has a good feel for game and throws a good ball.

Keith is a really good coach kids play hard for him and the will hit u hard and tackle good . And he probley wood make the middle school team better by making them run the same off deff and and work more with the 7th grade team

He has built a solid program at PCC, and I can't understand why he would want to come back to Breathitt, considering how things are going in Jackson.

If I were a betting man, I would bout bet my annual salary that Keith May will be PCCHS HC next year. Yes he is a good coach, he is also a really good BBALL coach. Very intelligent man. He is also a really good guy and enforces discipline. I'm not so much excited for the Belfry Offense as I am the defense. I like the air raid/spread option offense. Keith would...will do an excellent job.

I heard Chapman burned all the bridges that lead back to Jackson. Maybe he's burning bridges in Pike County right now. Whether you love him or you hate him, the man knows football. BHS needs someone with discipline. Maybe a guy like Chapman is what BHS needs.

I've been hearing for 3 years that it was his last year.

Why is this coming up? If he is doing good why would he leave? Jobs are sparse anymore people are staying a lot longer it seems once they find a good fit. I don't know it doesn't seem like a good move to me.

Well lets just go ahead and assume he does leave Pike. Pike Central has three options in my opinion. #1 Keith May- Good guy, Bad coach! Why do you think Belfry Middle got rid of him. Bad choice if you asked me. You have to push your players and he does not do this. #2 Go with Mills from Belfry. Just like May he is a middle school coach. Big difference in middle school and high school people. Yeah belfry has a good program but what makes people think that that scheme will work with PC players. #3 The new guy Chapman brought over to help him. Breathitt County guy, but I'm sure if Chapman goes he will go. He knows the game and learned a lot under Holcomb and Chapman. Downside to him would be inexperience and youth. This would be my choice because he has no ties to the county and don't have a relative on the team. He is high school material, not middle school. Best thing for Central to do is keep Chapman around. He has completely changed that program. They go from winning 4 games a year to 8, 9 or 10. Downfall to chapman is that he is not a people person. Tells you like it is and if you don't like it then tough. Chapman makes men out of boys, he turns losers into winners bottom line. If PC wants him to resign I look for him to head somewhere else and I'm sure other football programs would love to have a guy like him if they are a struggling. Good Luck finding a coach that will win Central because if you lose chapman you will be lucky to make it past the first round in the playoffs for the next couple of years.

This will be Chapman's last year at PC. The new superintendent will no longer pay his ridiculous salary. Why do you think he was trying so hard to land the Paintsville job when Bill Mike stepped down? Even he can read the writing on the wall.

#1 There isn't and has not been anyone named Mills coach at Belfry Middle or Belfry High School since I've been born and I've been around a while.
#2 Chapman tells it like he sees it, not like it is. Big difference.
#3 Stick with baseball even though I doubt you know anymore about it than you do football.

Ok well my bad. Belfry Middle School coach right now whoever he is. People tell me mills. I'm not sure. Another thing I have two state rings from Belfry so I know alittle about the game of football. Another thing I was better at baseball. I was just stating my opinion. Either way I'm sure your from Belfry or your a parent that's kid doesn't get to play. I don't like chapman personally but let's face it. Facts are facts. He wins. Look at the three rings he has with breathitt. He has nothing to prove to you or to me. How many rings do you have? Exactly. Let the man do his job and he will keep pike central football from falling into the pits once again.

Keep taking pal, you sound more intelligent with every post.

I agree with Baseball, Chapman made PCC who they are today, and if he is gone there will be a dip in success. I am a PCC alum and I know this to be true

I'm not saying that I am intelligent. Because let's face it I am a jock that works for the railroad now. I went to college for 1 year and did not feel like it was for me. I'm just stating facts. I'm giving the man some credit because no one else in Pike County will. The administration is Belfry people now and they will try everything to get him out of there. Now when you want to try to insult my intelligence make sure you proof read your posts and make sure you spell everything correctly. Just stating Facts. If you don't like it don't read it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
