You have lost your mind! You are offically a redhound hater!!! Lol!! They have absolutely shut down everyone they have played. Your comical now!! Must not know much about what's going on this year in the tri county area. Corbin and North Laurel are up big time this year. Williamsburg is probably a the biggest flop and Knox Central is the most overrated. Watch and wait time will tell my friend.

Les, of Times Tribune fame, is the one really pushing Williamsburg this year, but he does have his agenda.
#6
Boys Williamsburg will do ok in 1a, North is a improved team no doubt. Corbin is your stud coming out of this part of the mountains. If you don't have Corbin in your top 5 then obliviously you don't know JACK about high school football
#7
Hey Go Big Red, I want what you are smoking cause if you think Corbin should be ranked above Harlan County you have some good stuff. I can see Belfry and right now Pulaski and Johnson Central but Corbin? COME ON MAN!!! As Chris Berman would say.
#8
I can't see Pulaski County. They going to have to beat us. As for Corbin...we been begging you to schedule us since day One. Corbin couldn't beat HC 1 of 25 at Corbin every game. Get off that shit bro...

I thought he was pushing North Laurel there in the paper every time you look.lol and Les seem to always have agenda.

Not the famed times tribune!

They would never be biased Confusednicker:

I never understood the Corbins paper being so into Wburg. I can understand wanting to grow and cover more, but if your going to cover it, cover it well.
They do pretty good at covering Corbin sports, just like how they did the article on Campbell field in that series. (Whitley got a couple of paragraphs on the pages after the sports section on there field lol) but they also cover all of the tri county when they should focus more on just Corbin. Same way with the overly ridicoulos News Journal that continually hires sports editors that have no clue about sports (its like there foot in the door to journalism at the NJ) and poorly coer the games and often misspell things.
It would be nice to see papers only cover whats in there area. They Whitley republican should cover Whitley, Wburg and Corbin, NOT Lynn camp like they also do, while the paper in bville, cover the knox county teams, and the sentinel echo covers north and south.
Not sure what the agenda is, but its obvious. I do like Parsons, but they dont turn himm loose.

I still believe if Whitleys healthy, They could beat anybody from 5 or 6 down on a good day.
IMHO, Morristown West and Madison Southern would have done the same to those teams and had Whitleys RB and main offensive threat, as well as there starting FB played, they were 2-3 TD's better than Bell. Not to mention there starting QB was playing FB lol. But injuries are a part of the game, and with those kids out, there not good enough to be on this list. And word is, they may not get those kids back.

I agree. Whitley could beat any of the teams from North Laurel on down if healthy.

Corbin ahead of Harlan County?

HDE Wrote:Corbin ahead of Harlan County?

I'm not buying it either. You have 4 teams at the top in Belfry, PC, HC & JC, then it's a drop off to the others. I guess we will see where KC fits in after this weekend when they play Harlan County.

I think Corbin will do much better in 3a playoffs then HC will in 5a. HC got exposed Friday night. I thought HC was a lot better then what they played against Belfry. You had a chance to step up and beat a good 3a (who will probably play for another state title) and couldn't do it the wins HC has this year are against terrible teams. I still believe HC is a really good football team and is supposed to beat 3a teams. But I don't think you should talk smack till you beat somebody. I have no beef with HC hope them the best this year. I think Corbin has a chance to do something special by going perfect 10-0 this year. I may be wrong but my opinion is they will have the best year in recent redhounds history. That may all end against Danville this Friday who knows. Come on out and see!!! Go Big Red!
#18
If you look at last week I had HC #1 they lost to a 3a school. Which Belfry is a powerhouse 3a but still if your a stud 5a they are not supposed to beat you. Especially in your house
#19
Belfry or HC would beat Corbin by 40
#20
Bear_Paw Wrote:Belfry or HC would beat Corbin by 40

False!

I think that both teams would likely beat Corbin but saying they would by 40 points is ridiculous. Corbin may have been down the past two seasons but they look like they have bounced back to old form. They're not the most tradition rich program in the mountains for no reason.
#21
You have lost your mind!! You have obviously not watched Corbin play this year. Again good luck bear paw!!! You have another chance in a few weeks against 4A Johnson Central. I think HC is good but last week should tell HC they are not great. There is good book out there if u wanna read it. It's called the boys of Corbin. The hounds are back!!

Go Big Red!
#22
If the Hounds are back then why won't they play HC. They have declined for years. At least Belfry will play us and yes they are the best 3A team in the state this year. Corbin is average and you are running your mouth? I just don't understand. Belfry would be Corbin this year by at least 30 this year. If Corbin is back then tell Jewell, you know your coach, to play us so we don't have to travel 3 hours in state or out of state to Tennessee to play a game. Until you play us then shut your mouth!!!!

Corbin can't play every team between Pikeville and Paducah. Just because a team doesn't play another, doesn't make them afraid. Using your logic, Corbin must be terrified of Pineville and Lynn Camp or Harlan County must be afraid of South Laurel.

For the record, the best 3A team in Kentucky is Louisville Central. Belfry is the best 3A in the mountains but Central holds that top spot.
#24
HC is 1 hour away from Corbin. Pikeville and Paducah is many more hours from that. Just ask your coach why they won't play. He says we are too physical. That means if 3A Belfry who is in your own class that beat us will beat your ass like a drum. Harlan County has tried so hard getting games closer to home so we don't have to travel to Greenville TN and Johnson Central in Paintsville KY when we have teams like CORBIN that is a lot closer to us than those teams that we have had to schedule that is a lot further away from HC. Yes, Corbin has a better team this year than they have had in a while but don't start on HC who would beat your ass any day of the week any where. You better worry about the Bobcats rather than the Black Bears who would spank that ass and we are not even in your district. Corbin people like you has always given people from Corbin a bad name with the way you run your mouth. Beat somebody and then you can talk.
#25
We eat bear claws for breakfast here in Corbin. You say HC has been trying to play us for year? Dude you haven't been around for years! Corbin has more tradition in its pinky toe then HC has ever thought about. You are still on mama bears nipple in the ranks of tradition. Yeah belfry is a stud but Louisville Central has the 3A crown that's for sure. Nobody was running their mouths until you started with your predictions. So go hibernate about 100 years and maybe you can come back and talk about tradition. I was wanting HC to beat up on KC but now I think it would be halarious to see you take another beat down.

Bear claw your read your post its been all u running that mouth. I can't wait to tuck the bobcats tail for them. I would say HC better watch out for the Bobcats. Lol another beat down from a 3a. Belfry man handled you and your mad about it. Hahahaha that's too funny!!
#27
Buddy I don't have anything to say to you. You make your self sound stupid. I have great respect for Corbin football but you my friend make Corbin football sound stupid. To those Redhound fans that have sense I apologize for his ignorance. I agree that Corbin has more tradition than HC. Hell we have only been open for starting our 6th year, and you all have won more state championships and many more games than us, but you have been open a whole lot longer than we have. We are not here to run our mouth and compete against Corbin or anybody else. We are here to get better year by year as a program.

I never said anything about HC till u posted this garbage. Sounds like you respect Corbin. You are bi-polar!!! Please get help!!

Confusednicker:

Its nice to see Corbin fans finally show some life after being so bad for the past 3 or 4 years.
If they start getting back to district championships, ill have to work overtime to control all of the flooding

I believe Belfry is ranked No. 1 by Cantrall this week.

I doubt Pineville and Lynn Camp would want to play Corbin or South would play Harlan County and it's pretty much the same reason Corbin isn't playing Harlan County.
