Just what I expected. The Tigers have yet to be challenged. This team has scary talent.

They pulled the starters out by half time. Which was 49-0. They even took a knee on extra point when they scored with their freshman and jv squad in. Sindelar, Boyd and Dee Cain are on another level. Returning almost their entire defense from a year ago helped.

Is Sindelar as special as reported? Would love to see him play.

Outside of Mayfield they should easily blow out everyone on there schedule. A schedule like this does nothing to prepare your team for the postseason. With the number of young men on there roster go after a 6A or a 5A school during the season, see how your team reacts to the competition.

Christian and Ohio are both 5A.

24, you need to do the research before you post. They played Christian Co who is typically a 5a power. They played 5a Ohio Co. They play 3a Trigg Co. They play 3a top ten Fort Campbell. They play 2a power Murray. They finish with 1a defending state champs Mayfield.

Bowling Green, Trinity and Highlands were not available. :biglmao:
Seriously, Caldwell plays a very good schedule for a 2A school. Caldwell just happens to be better than most of those teams this season. Christian County, Fort Campbell, Murray and Mayfield are all stout, Ohio County is 5A and beat the Tigers up there two years ago, and Green County is pretty solid. Union County is usually pretty decent. Trigg always gives Caldwell all it can handle.
Caldwell had Franklin-Simpson on the schedule the last two years and wanted to keep playing them, but Franklin opted out.
I'm not sure what other options Caldwell had. I think Caldwell was lucky to find Christian County and Fort Campbell for this season.

See NCC's schedule, you know the defending 2A Champs.:eyeroll: Mayfield is a proven program. Christian Co. is medicore at best this year. Ft. Campbell hasn't been the same since Andrews was there. Ohio Co won 3 games last year and has about 1/2 the roster you have. :hilarious: Trigg had a losing record last year. Enough research? Just saying playing somebody like a home/home series with Lou. Central or that caliber will go along way for your team come playoff time. :welcome:

Caldwell County had a weaker schedule last year and had the champs on the ropes and should have won the game, their schedule is tough enough.

Their schedual is plenty tough. They are playin teams that are better than them typically. They just happened to have a breakout group of kids and the likes of one 50 cal. Arm. If they continue to have success the local best teams will find each other on scheduals. Im sure every coach in the world realizes this and would pick up talented teams as a strength development if they could, But most of those teams are carrying on with teams of repetitive strength. "Not taking anything from the likes of Caldwell and The Barrett .50cal taking snaps" but they have a team that scares ppl here in mayfield. . They very well could hand us a loss. I dont think any team in 2a would be able to hang with them except for the likes of desales. Even then ima still stand with the passing attack.
"Tl Dude" is on the $~money~$ with this one ^^^^ it would help but was just not available.. sure hopeur not a ncc fan. Dont wanna upset ya but ncc wouldnt hang this year ..

Not an NCC fan, just a fan of how there schedule prepares them for the postseason. Start out with 4A Ashland, 5A runner up Cooper, then 3 pretty good 6A teams then on to there district and finish up with there annual clash with Beechwood. Won state with 4 losses last year. BTW I hoped they (NCC) get smoked tomorrow night.

Mayfield is waiting. We will see how good they are when the Cardinals get a hold of them.
