Should be a great game to watch with playmakers on both teams and the ability to score from pretty much anywhere on the field. I am going to take Ashland by 10. I think they are just a bit more physical and they have the best player on either team in Baker.

Hopefully Raceland wins. But ever since coach Vanderhoof resigned the toughness level has went down drastically.

Baker is a game changer . I think Ashland wins now that the quater back has a game under his belt . Ashland will play a lot better this week at home . Tom cats 38 to 14 ---

Ashland wins this one.

Baker is really good but let's not forget the Rams have two studs of their own, Beach and Messer. IMO Messer is most versatile player in this area maybe in all of Class A football throughout the state. Beach is right below Baker for the top RB spot in this area. Rams win and send a statement that they are the team to beat in 2013.

I actually believed raceland has the talent to be the best team in the area. But mentally idk if they will put it together.

I don't know you or him and I'm not the least bit familiar with what went on in the past, but a big part of me wishes he would punch you in the mouth.

For the Rams to win. It will come down to three things.
Line play
Outside containment
Quarterback
If the first two happen it will stay close
If the qb plays smart mistake free. He's a Sr. Should be able to.
Rams win!!
It is as simple as that!!

Since you have to be considered "royalty" to walk the hallowed halls of Grace, er I mean "ASH" land, I would think you golden boys would be flushed with cash........

Can't happen right now we would need the other 900 seats.

Putnam
I have a crazy idea that will probably never happen in my lifetime. Why not play the game at Raceland?

Now I really want him to punch you in the mouth because he would also be hitting pulp fiction in the testicles. Two birds or three birds depending on how you look at it with one stone.

Because you would have even less seats.

FWIW, I always cheer for the little guy. So I hope Raceland wins. Plus I have always been a Randy Vanderhoof fan. He is a great coach.

We play Fairview at home every other year and those crowds easily match the crowds when we play Ashland. Yes some people may have to stand or bring lawn chairs but I think the tight capacity makes the environment feel more electric.

If raceland players played with the swagger that their fans had they might accomplish something. Maybe the players are always thinking of there homeland,, Russell and greenup...hahaha
08-28-2013, 03:51 PM
They've always played the game at Ashland, because Raceland's seating was considered to be inadequate, isn't that ironic. Ha ha

I don't understand what Ashlands waiting on, the longer they delay it the more the cost will go up. What's going to happen when they have to shut the whole place down
