Bowling Green ranked 24th in nation
#1
Maxpreps has Bowling Green ranked 24th after the first week of football. They moved up 32 spots after their win over Lexington Catholic. Trinity is 58th on the list and Highlands is 80th. I'm just the messenger. I'm not saying I agree with this poll, but at least we have 3 teams ranked in the top 100. And, by the way, I really do agree with this poll. Confusednicker:

It was a shocker to me too, Granny. I was sure rooting for them. I have some friends that went to Trinity. By the way, the Mighty Black Bears of Harlan County are ranked 3rd in 5A and 10th in all classes in this poll. Always a fan.

Thank you; that's so nice!!

Black Bears didn't play until Saturday, so I was trying to listen to three games so I could update on BGR, BUT had Trinity on TV. I swear, the only time Ensworth led was at the end of the game!! But, guess that's when it counts!!

Congrats to BG. Congrats to KY football finally receiving deserved recognition with 3 teams in top 100. Hopefully 2 more by the end of the season.
