Nobody should get votes but Mayfield. 1A is moot this year. Cardinals will win going away.

E, I don't think you ever heard such words out of anyone's mouth from the Mayfield side. You seem to have a real hard on for some reason. Chill out. I do think we should be very good again this year but, we have been beaten before and may again. All I can say about you whinning is, at least we have done it before many times.

Good to see Eastern Ky represented with Fairview, Raceland, and Pikeville. But the only ranking that matters is the one at the end of the year.

BIGDAWG, you got that one right. That is what I have been trying to convey to Wburg fans. There is no reason to get upset if you are not in the top ten. You will play yourself in. This is just a preseason poll, who cares. I don't ever recall a preseason poll matching exactly what the polls at the end of the year say.

I would prefer to be number 9, 10 or 11 ect. And be much better then expected. Then to be a top five . And not that good. Climbing up is much better then falling down!!!!

Now just like I said Wburg fans, your team would play its way in. Holy Cross had a very disappointing loss and y'all won. You will now move up after only one week. If y'all would beat some quality opponents you would climb even further.

What does it matter who is in the Preseason rankings? Preseason rankings don't win state titles. Your play on the field does that....

E, take it however you wish. My point was that you guys would play your way in. I said 1 or 2 weeks. Holy Cross played terrible and appears to not be worthy at this point. Yall just needed one team to fall and it already happened. If your inferiority complex wants to lead you to think that was a slap in the face, oh well.
