Saint Xavier Tigers @ Simon Kenton Pioneers 8/16
#1
Should be a great scrimmage to watch alot of great players on both teams.
#2
I thought I heard Nagle is injuried will he play in this scrimmage?
#3
Juat hope the Pioneers get more positives out of this scrimmage than they did the last 2 years. Both of those didn't go so well.

I have not heard about an injury to Nagle. No mention that I can find. He will be the 2nd coming, according to X fans.

Read on BGP somebody said he was hurt.

I think SK will be able to move the ball on X but they will have to play the perfect game mistake free.
#7
The last two years SK looked like it was playing its first scrimmage while X played like they were playing a mid season game. My understanding is that X has so many kids they have cuts from Freshman to sophomore. I'm sure that makes for more intense practices and a lot more depth than you could find at any public school.
#8
The first time SK scrimmaged them they got off the buses with about 55 kids in one bus wearing green and the other had about the same amount of kids wearing yellow. Seperated for offense and defense.
#9
Does X have any positions that are still to be determined? I believe SK's defense is set, but I believe that Center and RB are both open to competition.
#10
Have no idea about X. Think SK's offense is set though.

X is best team on the Ville. They will roll.

Agree about X being top dog in the Ville. Really think the new coach and all talent on the roster will make them better than the "Green Monster". As far as your 2nd sentence, you could be write, but I hope your wrong.

Praying for an upset!

Thankfully, this debate will be decided on the field.

I sure hope SK can do something worth watching. I am sure the Collins staff would like to have something worth watching this week...
#16
Almost game time.
#17
hop, good luck to the Boy. Great exposure tonight. He won't face a team with more athletes the rest of the season
#18
14 to 7 X halftime.

Varsity on varsity it was 21-14 X. X last two scores were against jv. SK only showed about 20% of their offense. X has a lot of nice athletes with size. Brennan played pretty well considering he was under constant pressure. For the first time in 3 years you got the feeling SK belonged on the field with this team.

 Spot on. The last 2 years left a lot to be desired. Thanks for the compliment Star! Looking forward to the rest of the season. NKY 6A should be another great year for football. You could be first or fourth, just don't be last! Like how most of the state counts the whole district out after all the close games then someone goes on a run deep into the playoffs.

Should be a good one this year. Heard your QB sliced up the Birds tonight.
