TigerFan3 Wrote:From what I hear, practice is going good. Consistently about 23-25 kids out so that's good. Miller started practice this week, I believe, but Fannin is playing qb. Miller may see some snaps, but imo he will spend more time at safety. I haven't heard anything on scrimmages.
That's about right from what I've seen. 20-22 at practice and Miller is there now. Safety and doing some receiver work, can be an asset out there with his height matchup. Now hopefully we can get Phelps on the edge with some misdirection and open it up for Miller down the field on some jump ball passes.

Heard the Nordin kid that plays soccer will be doing the kicking for the Tigers this year. Kids got a boot!!

From what I've heard, Daniel still hasn't been declared eligible at Pikeville. He hasn't been practicing with them. I hope things work out for him wherever he plays.

They better hurry, have to get in the total amount of practices until you can go in pads. And that isn't easy to get into pad shape. Best to him and the Panthers this year

Word is that he has been declared ineligible to play for Pikeville. Now, is he still eligible to play at Paintsville should they change their minds, and choose to swallow their pride and bring him back Home to the Tigers???

Any word on scrimmages?

No word on scrimmages but Kash was ruled ineligible. Looks like he will be back in blue.
08-05-2013, 08:49 PM
Which is a huge plus for the Blue.

Info came from one of his family members. Pikeville starts school this week so I would say we'll see the proof of it soon.

Can't believe between the parents and the school that they can't make it happen for the kid to go to school where they want him to.

^Never mind. A shame the kid can't be where he wants to be.

The line on Pikeville vs. Paintsville in Week 3 just dropped from 53 to 46...
08-06-2013, 09:46 AM
How was he not ruled eligible.
08-06-2013, 09:47 AM
Maybe he is ending up where he wants to be. And, I'm hoping the line won't be as bad as your prediction.

Sounds like someone got lethargic during the process.

PTF, his sister was staying at Paintsville so I think that was the hitch.

No way he wouldn't have been eligible. Same thing happened to Kasongo.

1) Maybe. But then why was he at Pikeville?
2) It will be.

Believe me, I really wish the kid good luck at Paintsville. Would have liked to see him eligible, and ready to play at Pikeville, but the Panthers will be fine without him.

Can't say that this breaks my heart. I for one was gonna miss the kid. I enjoyed being around him and watching him play and grow everyday. Heart of a lion!
